“Why don't you go to visit the National Park or Park of nature on the island of VIS - by boat? Or if you have some adventure genes, go rafting, canyoning, kayaking or diving with a licensed instructor? There are many agencies in the town center just waiting for you to choose some islands tours, every one more magical than the other. You can choose one tour or even better combine a couple of tours. ”

Natural Feature
“Amazing nature, I would recommend to go there before 10.00 or after 15.00 in high season because in the daytime there may be too many people and tourist boats. I advise you to wear comfortable shoes for a steep descent, be careful and take your time”

Restaurant
“Highly recommended, our favorite restaurant on the island. Excellent local food. Must try the unusual starters, as well as the best grilled fish. Mid price. Beautiful courtyard with lemon trees. Open all year unlike all other restaurants on Vis island!”

Bar
“During daytime and evening this is the not-so-charming hang-out for local gawkers and drinkers, set just across from the ferry landing. After midnight, however, when everything else closes, Bejbi turns into a swinging place where anyone may show up and anything can happen.”

“‘Sister’ to two popular pizzerias of the same name in Zagreb, Karijola serves up thin-crust concoctions with high-quality toppings. Try the Karijola (tomato, garlic, mozzarella, rocket and prosciutto.”

Beach
“According to many, one of the best beaches in Europe, Stiniva is only accessible by hiking on a steep and narrow path or by a taxi boat from the Rukavac cove. The beach is breathtakingly secluded with a narrow sea entrance with crystal clear waters. Stiniva is located on the southern part of the island and is surrounded by high cliffs, which provide a shade on one part of the beach so you can hide from the hot midday sun, since parasol and beach loungers are not available for rent. This 35-metre-long beach is a perfect spot for anyone who wants to emerge himself in the beautiful nature of Vis and escape from the crowds of the modern world.”

Nature
“It can be visited by boat from Rukavac or as a part of boat tour around the island. The best time to visit is around midday as the special position of the sun gives the cave light green effect. You can jump from the top (only if experienced!) and swim inside the cave.”
