Park
“A little-visited oasis of National Park-style nature on the edge of the suburb of Vredehoek (about a 10 minute drive from the apartment). The streams that run down through the park originate in the bedrock of Table Mountain, and you can follow the bubbling water up the slope all the way to the famous landmark. Lots of cool places for picnics, etc too. ”

Greek Restaurant

“I almost don't want to write this review for fear that it gets so popular I won't get a table on a whim every again, but this one is too good not too share and I believe in giving credit where credit is due. In my opinion this is the best Greek food in Cape Town and as it's actually cuisine I'm very fond of, I don't say this lightly. The staff are warm and accommodating. Food is consistently excellent. The mezze (halloumi especially), gyro, lamb chops, creamy tzatziki and bughasta dessert are always winners and our favourites. We eat here often and it's a real neighbourhood gem. Completely unpretentious and utterly charming.”
