Just booked in Wark

The cottage is situated in Bellingham, within walking distance of all the town’s amenities (17 miles from Hexham), in the heart of the North Tyne valley. An exquisite base (with consistently high reviews) for exploring the tranquil local landscapes, by foot or wheel, close to the River North Tyne (fishing permits available) and the Dark Sky park and Kielder observatory.
The cottage has two bedrooms, one has a single bed and one a twin which can be zipped together to create a superking bed. There is a kitchen equipped with toaster, dishwasher. electric oven, microwave and kettle. The lounge is large and includes a dining table and TV. The bathroom has a bath and shower over the bath, it also includes a washing machine and tumble drier. The back of the cottage overlooks fields. There is a shed in the garden in which bikes can be stored or, if they need locking away that can be arranged too.
The town is the capital of the North Tyne, it has a butchers shop, a newsagent, a bakers, a chemist, three pubs and is in an area renown for natural beauty. The whole area has wonderful dark skies and there are two observatories within 10 miles of the cottage. There is a local golf club which welcomes day visitors.
  • I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. Norma was fantastic; she met us at the cottage to hand over the keys and gave us a tour of the place. She was helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The house is stocked with all the little things you don't even think about packing when you go away which makes the trip a lovely, relaxing experience. Coming in November gave us a perfect opportunity to see Northumberland in all its autumnal beauty and arriving back to the beautiful, cosy cottage after a day of exploring made our trip a first class experience.

    Kelly2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I stayed at Norma's cottage for a short weekend break in July. The cottage is really beautiful, comfortable, and was the perfect base for our stay. It's situated in a prime location for access to local villages and the sights of Kielder. We visited Kielder Observatory and Kielder Water while we were there and both were only a short drive from the cottage. Norma was a great host with great communication. While we didn't meet her as she was away for the weekend she arranged for a friend to meet us and show us around the property. We had a great time and we'll definitely be back!

    Stephen2017-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Norma’s place provided a cosy and comfortable place to rest our heads. We easily could have stayed for much longer and definitely hope to return again soon. The house is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. The personal touches and warm welcome were fantastic.

  • Our second stay in winter this time but every bit as enjoyable as the summer!

    Jane2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is just lovely. Very comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. We had a brilliant time and can recommend this property (and the owner) unreservedly. We felt very welcome.

    Catherine2016-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location and lovely space: much bigger than the photos suggest. Wholeheartedly recommended to anyone else.

    Steve2016-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable and welcoming home ideally placed for Kielder and Hadrian's Wall.

    Patrick2017-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Three of us had a great stay in Bellingham for a weekend of walking up in Northumberland. The cottage was very comfortable and well-equipped and ideally located for trips to Hadrian's Wall and Kielder Forest.

Enjoy the tranquility of a peaceful rural location in a pleasant village nestled in the heart of scenic Northumberland. We are within easy reach of Hadrian's Wall, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and sit adjacent to the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park. We are two minutes from National Cycle Route 10 and offer secure storage for bikes. Regretfully we do not accept pets. Continental breakfast provided. Please note - there is a step in the shower room and another into the dressing area.
Rose Cottage Barn was converted in 2016 and includes an ensuite shower room and a sitting area. It is very peaceful and enjoys views over the garden and beyond. The Barn is connected via a boot room to the main cottage where we have lived for the last three years.
Birtley is a small hamlet with extensive views of the North Tyne. Many neighbours have lived here for a long time, it is very tranquil and enjoys dark skies.
  • We had a lovely short break at Rose Cottage. It was bright, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely book Rose Cottage again as there's plenty more exploring to do in Northumberland.

    Tracy2017-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • If there were more stars available we would choose them! Rose cottage looked lovely in the photos but in real life it's more beautiful than you can imagine! Pauline and Tony were so welcoming and had lots of helpful tips for making the most of our time in Northumberland. The room was spotless and the en suite was beautifully finished. Pauline's garden is stunning and bliss to wake up to and at night we were left blankets and hot chocolate to enjoy star gazing! So much thought had clearly gone into every detail, particularly breakfast which included fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries, juice etc-if only we'd had more time to eat the whole lot! A perfect, rural getaway surrounded by gorgeous countryside. A great nights sleep. Just perfect. We will be back in future for longer than just one night!

    Darcie2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Pauline's place was lovely, even more so than the photos suggest! Great location in a quiet village nearby to activities! Was fantastic to find tea and cake when we arrived! Pauline was a very accommodating and friendly host!

    Eisha2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • Pauline is a kind and generous host and we had a lovely stay at Rose Cottage Barn

    DAVID2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Pauline and her husband made us very welcome on our arrival, and they were extra helpful with last minute directions (don't follow (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps if arriving through Wark as it does try to take you through a field!) We were over the moon with Rose Cottage which had been finished to a really high standard throughout! We loved the spot and the surrounding countryside and our hosts were brilliant when it came to helping us find things to do locally (some really nice walks and some good tips for exploring Hadrian's Wall) and great recommendations for local pubs and restaurants (we enjoyed nearby Battlesteads but the food at Barrasford Arms a bit further away was brilliant). Next time we hope to be able to book in at one of the local observatories to make the most of the dark skies! Really happy with our stay at Rose Cottage and can't wait to go back to explore further! Thanks again Adam

  • Rose Cottage Barn is a beautiful place in a beautiful area. It's a private space with first class facilities and lovely extra touches such as cakes on arrival and hand picked flowers from the gorgeous garden. It's beautifully decorated and has lovely pieces of art work. It has such a cosy, relaxing atmosphere. It's a joy to stay in! We will be back for sure.

    Christine2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Pauline and her husband were very friendly and helpful with advises where to go for cycling or walking. Their cottage is amazing place to stay. Quiet place just few min drive or 15-20 min walk to town where you can eat or do shopping.

    Jana2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely fantastic! We had a great stay at Rose barn cottage. We were welcomed with homemade cakes and warm smiles. Location is superb to enjoy the beautiful countryside of Northern England. House is filled with lovely finishing touches and very clean. You can also enjoy the beautiful garden and have your private entrance. We definitely want to visit the place again.

  • We loved this little cottage so much! It's perfect for 2 people, and so cosy and cute. The kitchen is great, living room lovey and relaxing and the bedroom a delight. It is on a slightly noisy road but didn't bother us. And the local surrounds are stunning. We'll definitely be back and would recommend it!

  • This is a great base for a break in Northumberland. The accommodation was excellent, and the pub next to door was handy - food orders ended at 8pm so get there early. Surrounded by amazing countryside and full of great places to visit. Try Housesteads for Hadrians Wall and Alnwick Castle.

There is a cosy dining kitchen with an electric AGA cooker and a view of the garden, a double and a single bedroom with a pull out second bed. There is also a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. There is a garden which may be used by guests and a number of good pubs, restaurants, and cafes in the attractive neighbouring villages. The cottage is well equipped with facilities for cooking and a dishwasher. The bathroom has a good over bath shower. There are comfortable beds, a television and games and books.
Little Park End is situated in the peaceful North Tyne valley in Northumberland, England’s most northerly county. For over 1000 years the area was riven by warfare and conflict, Hadrian’s Wall is nearby and Little Park End is within easy reach of the magnificent central section; Chesters and Housesteads forts and the unique archaeological treasures of Vindolanda. The violent dark ages of the Saxons and Vikings were followed in the middle ages by open warfare between England and Scotland. Marauding armies and itinerant raiders used the North Tyne Valley as a highway for attack and rapid escape The conflict in latter centuries is clearly visible in the pele towers, castles and defensive houses which are still to be seen throughout the county, some in a ruinous state but many are still inhabited. Please contact us for further information.
  • Really lovely annex to the main house set in pretty gardens and woodland. Plenty of space for two adults and two children as long as the kids are happy to share a room. Great big kitchen and the aga keeps it toasty warm. We loved coming home after a day exploring Newcastle or Hadrian's Wall, so comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Owl Cottage to couples or families visiting this area. Although we didn't meet Katherine in person, she was quick and helpful in responses to all our questions and lovely freshly baked scones on our arrival :)

  • Lovely cottage off the beaten track :o)

  • the cottage is a wonderful place to explore the Northumberland np and a lot more and also to hang out and relax. One of the best air bnb accomodations I stayed so far!

  • A gorgeous cottage in a very quiet location but within easy driving distance to all local places of interest, such as Hexham, Hadrian's Wall and Cragside. Very comfortable and well equipped cottage and it very much felt like home from home. We arrived late on Friday evening to a warm cottage and a tray of fresh scones and jam, which had been laid out by Catherine in readiness for arrival. A very nice touch and warm welcome. Without a doubt, we would stay here again when we return to area.

    Marg2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place! very picturesque. We walked along the river at the back of the house and the garden was great for the children. The cottage it's self was great we had everything we needed and had a lovely welcome basket.

    Natalie2017-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Owl Cottage exceeded our expectations, being a lot bigger than the photos look. The Aga really makes this place, they are so easy to use, made the cottage really cosy and great for being able to dry wet walking gear. Lots of Laura Ashley and Next, a lot of thought has gone into the interior. Scones, milk and bread on arrival was very welcoming. Would highly recommend.

    Gemma 2017-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Katherine's cottage. Very peaceful and cosy with plenty of space. There were scones, biscuits, eggs and bread waiting for us. Katherine was very responsive by email and offered any help and chat if we needed. Highly recommended.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Owl Cottage. The cottage is handy for days out to in Hadrian's Wall , Kielder Forest , Hexham , Newcastle. Durham is only an hours drive away. We were very thankful for the welcome basket Katherine left for . The cottage was newly decorated , warm and comfortable. The living room was cosy with a very comfy sofa. The king size bed was great with a lovely warm duvet - had wonderful uninterrupted sleeps ! We didn't meet Katherine , the host , unfortunately - she was very discreet and left us to it. Overall we would recommend Owl Cottage heartily !

We have three rooms (two double, one single) available in our home, situated in the little village of Simonburn. They are cosy rooms, with a shared bathroom. Its a big and old house so you'll have space and privacy to do as you please! It's definitely a more rustic option and we don't make any claims of 5* service, but breakfast will be included and absolutely everyone is welcome.
The house is a quiet and secluded, in a lovely rural setting. It is an old house, which has its share of creaks, but full of character and it is somewhere that you will feel right at home!
Simonburn Village is a sweet little hamlet, which has a lovely 14 Century Church, and a small tearoom. It is a very quiet village. Driving - 10 minutes to Hadrian's Wall, 30 minutes to Kielder Forest, 5 minutes from local butcher/deli/pubs/newsagent, 15 minutes to supermarket in Hexham.

  • A very cosy place to stay, off grid but with hot water, electricity and good phone signal. The hut is in a wonderful secluded spot with a lovely fire, comfy bed and friendly host. Couldn’t have asked for more!

  • Stayed for one night in August and was instantly blown away by the beautiful surrounding that are ever changing as you arrive. We were greeted with a warm and welcome introduction and shown around Rosie which is a beautifully decorated shepherds hut. We made full use of this very practical quaint accommodation by making a meal, using the logburner and enjoying the panoramic views over a bottle of wine. Had a very comfrtable sleep and was thoroughly relaxed. Brilliant and unique getaway. Highly recommended

    Jordan2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place. Unimaginably quiet. Akin to a wooden caravan, rocked at night by wind and rain. By day, views West along the North Tyne valley towards Bellingham (which, two or three miles away, downhill, has all the amenities you could want, including a Co-op open till 10pm, a bookshop, butcher, baker, general store, and (I think) post-office) and Kielder Water (just out of sight). The place is a good 200 yards from the nearest house, separated by its own paddock/garden. Remarkable experience. Brian and Lesley are exceptionally kind and attentive hosts. There is a chance to hire bikes, if you don't get there by means of the no. 10 cycle route that passes by. Do bear in mind, that this really is, at the moment, 'off grid', as the description attests: there are at the moment no plugs for ordinary appliances. There are places to charge things that can be plugged into USB slots or powered by 12 Volt DC car cigarette lighter-type slots. Best to be aware in advance: no need to bring heavy appliances. Despite all that, the grid finds you everywhere: there is good (4G) mobile phone reception (I'm with EE/Orange in case that makes any difference). Couldn't recommend it more highly. I think even in the winter, with the powerfully hot log-burner going, it would be great. I saw a hare in the road outside (which is very little used).

    Michael2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • What a hidden gem this little place is! The location and scenery just breathtaking - if you want to escape then this is your place! The hut was just perfect, it was spotless and had absolutely everything you needed. Our host Brian was incredibly professional and quick to respond to your messages, and was there to meet us on arrival and show us around. This really was a perfect little hut, in a perfect place. Thank you!

    Michelle2017-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • The location of the hut is great for getting away from it all. The silence at night along with the darkness is really soothing and relaxing. I thought it might get a bit cold but the little wood burner warms the hut up really quickly and makes it super cozy! I'd recommend this hut to anyone looking to for a nice peaceful retreat for a few nights. If your lucky you'll have the added bonus of clear skies to make the most of this dark sky area.

    Christopher2017-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • The Shepherd's hut was warm, cosy, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Brian is a fantastic host and had the fire set up for us so all we had to do was throw a match in! Stunning views of the surrounding countryside, with Bellingham just a short drive away for shops and places to eat, and Kielder water and observatory further afield. We loved it and would return in a heartbeat!

    Kirsty2017-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • The Shepherds hut was amazingly relaxing and remote, just what was needed for the night. The bed was beautifully comfy and Brian was a great host, generous and kind.

  • An absolutely amazing stay. Terri has worked so hard at creating a stunningly beautiful cottage. She has furnished it with everything you will ever need. Her tour on arrival was informative and useful as were her tips on where to go, where to eat and where to avoid! The beds are so comfy. It’s very secluded (but easily accessed) so it’s very dark and quiet. Terri has added extras such as Netflix which help to cater for people of all ages. We will definitely think about staying in one of her properties again:)

  • This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. I'm very picky, particularly on the hygiene front, but this place was spotless and the hostess had thought of everything. It also has a very pretty garden with great open views front and back.

  • This is a gem of a place. Located near a couple of other houses it was still very secluded and quiet and had a lovely little garden and good walks from the door. We stayed for one night on our way back from Scotland and I wish we could have stayed longer. Terri was a lovely host very friendly and helpful and her cottage was wonderful. Warm, clean and nicely furnished with everything you might need, even a little welcome present. We would definately stay again if ever we are up that way and next time make it longer. Thanks Terri.

*Please message us to ask for our best price for your preferred dates!* A thoroughly delightful, deceptively roomy cottage all on one level. Nestled in beautiful surroundings in a small hamlet near the ancient market town of Bellingham in the Tyne Valley, through which the Pennine Way passes. The cottage overlooks beautiful fields and woodlands and is situated in a serene and utterly relaxing location.
This pretty cottage has two double bedrooms, with beautiful crisp white linen. The master bedroom has a four poster bed and a dressing table. The lounge is comfortably furnished, with TV, DVD player and a wood-burning stove to make for cosy evenings. There are lovely views over the valley. Cows and sheep (lambs in the spring) can be seen from the window, grazing in the front field. The very spacious kitchen diner has lovely views out on to the garden, where you can watch the many varieties of birds who visit the cottage. This year has seen a family of woodpeckers, as well as the usual nuthatches, robins, finches and pheasants - not to mention red squirrels and badgers on occasion. Why not step out from the kitchen and eat ‘al fresco’ out on the lovely secluded decked area. The gardens, on three sides of the cottage, are enclosed, secluded and well maintained with a raised decked area and pagoda that becomes magical of an evening when the lights twinkle overhead! There is nowhere better to sip on a glass of wine and recover from a busy day’s exploring of wonderful Northumberland and all it has to offer. There is ample parking in front of the Cottage accessed via a private lane.

  • We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Old Workshop and can not fault it in any way! Our trip was a birthday surprise from my other half and as soon as we opened the door, I knew I couldn't have booked anywhere better. The house is the perfect size for 2 people and has so much character! The bed was so comfortable and we spent one of our evenings with the fire on and a home cooked steak from the butchers a couple of doors away. Although the village is remote, we were at Kielder Water and Wark in 30 minutes maximum and with so much to do and explore just around the corners (such as the waterfall walk) we wish that we'd have stayed longer Check-in was so simple and the communication from Maxine was brilliant. We are aiming to travel back for darker skies later in the year and this will without doubt be out number one option for accommodation.

  • Lovely cottage, perfect for our short getaway. The decor is beautiful, with a very comfortable bed and powerful shower - both welcomed to soothe the aches and pains from walking in the area! The area itself is gorgeous. The village is well situated for touring much of Northumberland and in an ideal spot for visiting Kielder Forest for walking or stargazing at the observatory. All amenities (convenience store, bakery, pubs etc) are within 3-5 minute walking distance, just as advertised and there are some nice walks from the village, including an easy route up to Hareshaw Linn waterfall. Although in the village 'square', it was incredibly quiet, so great for a peaceful break. Would happily return and stay again - hopefully next time the skies will be clear and we'll get to experience their famous dark sky stars!!

  • Very luxurious! The bed was to die for! Very powerful shower which was great! Still cant believe how much they have managed to fit in such a small space! There is the normal things like a hob, kettle, toaster etc but then they have even managed to fit in an oven, washing machine, microwave and even a hoover and airer! Its bigger than it looks in the picture. Great location for reaching places like Kielder. Spoke to Maxine before we left and she was lovely. If we had any questions I wouldn't have hesitated to ask!

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. In the mornings you can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the formal dining room. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use.
Guests will enjoy the privacy of the extremely comfortable east wing. You will be given your own key for your stay.
The heart of Northumberland. Half an hour from Newcastle, 10 minutes from corbridge and 15 minutes from Hexham. Plenty of good local pubs. Hadrians wall, the river Tyne, keilder and Northumberland national park.
  • A wonderful welcome, superb setting, very spacious and comfortable room, with exquisite views all combined to make this an excellent place to stay. It is very accessible, no distance from the A68, yet peaceful and quiet, and the breakfast, served in a very elegant dining room was delicious. The bathroom was generous and the shower as powerful as any I can remember. I shall be telling all my friends and will definitely try and book in when I am next in Northumberland.

  • I had a most wonderful stay at Great Swinburne. Zoe was a warm and splendid host. I can honestly say that I have never before stayed at such a lovely bed and breakfast. The bedroom suite was delightful and so comfortable, breakfast was fantastic and very relaxed, and walking in the parkland was a joy. Also, the house proved to be a great base from which to explore the beautiful countryside of Northumberland. I look forward to returning at some point.

  • A family of three, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cosy Cottage just before Christmas. A lovely cottage, very homely and inviting! We loved the bedroom upstairs and the very relaxing lounge adjoining it. A modern but cosy feel, we are hoping to return again at the end of this year! Everything was clean and tidy and very well presented. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Traditional country house in rural Northumberland, well placed for exploring Hadrian's Wall, the Northumbrian coast and castles. It is here that you get total peace and quiet, and with excellent dining locally. Breakfasts include our own eggs!
This secluded peaceful rural setting gives you our guest the opportunity to relax in a stunning setting where you are able to enjoy tea in the garden and walks in the local area.
Can you think of anywhere more glorious than the Northumbrian countryside with such attractions as the heritage of Hadrian's Wall, its castles and coast.
  • Hugely recommended. A beautiful house, and very comfortable room. The Stewart's were very accommodating. There is also a fantastic pub only a short drive away.

  • My mother and I had a very good stay at Catherine's beautiful b&b. The house is in a magnificent rural setting and the hospitality, accommodation and breakfast were all exceptional.

  • Catherine was very welcoming and a perfect host. Everything about my whole stay couldn't be more British :) Including the breakfast, the great food at the local pub and had a fabulous hike along Hadrian's Wall which is nearby. I could really recommend it!

  • Had a super 2 night stay at the Hermitage, which was so much more than your regular B&B. Catherine made us feel so welcome to her beautiful home, served wonderful breakfasts and arranged an evening meal at an excellent local pub. The bedroom was spacious and the drawing room for our use was so cozy.

  • Katie was so kind and friendly. She fixed us a delicious breakfast in the morning and researched our route for the day. Her house was beyond description and it was a privilege to stay in such a home.

    mary2016-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We were made to feel very welcome by Katie and her dogs with tea and cakes on arrival. The house was beautiful, it was not like staying in a B and B, we felt more like guests in her beautiful home. The drawing room, for our own use, with a real fire, was delightful and our bedrooms were very spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. We had an excellent breakfast. The house is situated in amazing grounds and is very convenient for visiting Hexham and Hadrian's Wall. Katie booked the local pub for us for our evening meals, it was excellent. We shall certainly return.

The tipi can be set up with a combination of double or single beds and we'd recommend a maximum of 4 people to ensure a comfortable stay. The tipi comes equipped with beds, bedding, fire basket, gas stove, cooking and eating equipment, a cool box, rugs, cushions, a small set of drawers, L.E.D. candles and fairy lights. • Loverly location, loverly host, really enjoyed our stay. Kirsty's hospitality is top notch. Made our trip that much better. Would defiantly recommend to others looking for some peace and quiet. We were up until 3am stargazing as the campsite had zero light pollution! Great!

  • A fantastic location in Northumberland only 7 miles from hexham with fantastic views. We drove to Kielder forest and reservoir for the day which was beautiful and then over to Tynemouth beach on the Sunday. The Glamping itself was brilliant, we had the bed made up a stove to keep us warm and it was romantic with fairy lights in the tipi. I would recommend this to anybody we took our small dog who also loved it So much more character than a boring old hotel and I would definitely do this again

  • The Tipi has everything you could need and is clean and welcoming. Kirsty is a great host, and the people on the farm itself were very helpful. The actual campsite has basic facilities - so don't expect hotel standards :-), but a wonderful place to see the stars and wake up in a field to see a sunrise miles from anywhere.

    Richard2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely teepee tent. Everything practical you can think you'd need was there.. from kettles to tea towels.. We were lucky with the weather so had a night out in front of the open fire and cooked dinner outside on the gas stove. It is essentially a big tent, big enough stand up and walk around, the blow up bed is comfy and the candles and throws and rugs gives it a real homely feeling. GREAT value for money. Kirsty was a brilliant host, although we didn't meet her- we met her husband when we arrived.. but she was great at replying when we had queries or questions! She also gave us a bottle of Prosecco on arrival as we'd had a holiday cancelled prior to booking. Lovely thought and perfect as the sun went down over the hills. Near to Alnwick and Bamburgh.. and plenty of wonderful places close by. Was a real treat.. thank you.

    Lauryn2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Kirsty was great from the outset and communicated with us throughout our stay to ensure we were enjoying ourselves/offer restaurant recommendations etc.! The teepee itself, whilst essentially a tent, was clean inside with more room than expected! The bedding was all clean and everything was there and ready for us to use. The bathrooms/showers were only a short walk away from our teepee, as well as a farm house where we were able to buy firewood. The farm itself is fairly secluded and we felt very safe leaving our belongings there when we went out. The area was quiet and other campers were all very respectful. A car is definitely recommended, but most things were only a short drive away and we managed to do lots of waking around the area, which was beautiful. Would definitely consider booking with Kirsty again!

  • A lovely secluded camp ground. The tipi was wonderful and cosy and once we purchased wood we were able to spend some lovely nights in front of the camp fire. It is a couple of minutes walk to the toilet blocks where there are 2 showers and 2 toilets (per gender), and we occasionally got caught without toilet paper in either of the cubicles.
