Park
“Lots of history there. You can go see the famous 1800's ship wreck remains at the beach and you can find views from a lookout where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean, which is pretty cool! The bunkers you can tour were the United States' first millitary defense from the Japanese during WWII, apart from Hawaii. There are some historical sites that you can learn more about here. There are a ton of really good biking and running trails around here if you are looking for a place to do that! Free to get in! We also love to go here in the evenings, as this is our closet beach (15 minute drive from our house) and get a fire pit going on the beach, which is a popular thing to do here and we also love to go clam digging on the beach here as well, during the low tides earlier in the day. ”
