“The estate and modernist home of late industrial designer Russel Wright. Take a tour of the home and property or just enjoy the beautiful walking trails, designed by Wright himself.”

“There’s one main street in Cold Spring - filled with charming cafes, antique shops, and design stores that look like they belong in a much bigger city - and after you walk the entirety of it, you’re going to want some ice cream. Get it at Moo Moo’s, then walk across the street to the park on the river for an extremely scenic ice cream experience.”

“Want to feel like you’re living in a different century? Eat lunch at Cold Spring Depot, the restaurant directly next to the train tracks. The American food is decent, but mostly, there’s something thrilling about eating a burger while a train goes by right in front of you. ”

“Grandma Phoebe runs this shop, restaurant and gift shop with her family. It is so much fun to visit and see the chickens and pigs, but honestly they make the best carrot cake and donuts I've ever had (and I am not a carrot cake fan). Their bakery items are incredible and they now serve lunch on their outdoor patio. A very special place only 15 minutes away.”
