“Brunch. Always call ahead and make a reservation or you will be waiting in a line out the door! Fresh popovers on Sunday morning are usually sold out by 10am. The kitchen is magic. The specials are always good - especially seafood. They also are phenomenal for lunch or dinner. Great wine selection. Top notch favorite place. Street parking can be tricky so give yourself some time to find a spot or there is a public lot down the side street - look for signs.”

“Do the tasting and buy a growler of your favorite to take home as the best souvenir ever. They can be busy and there are not many places to sit there to enjoy a drink, so once you know what you like from the tasting, take it to go and enjoy at home or order it when you're out to dinner at various local spots.”

Museum
“Located at the end of Stonington Borough near the beach, this stone lighthouse has a wonderful collection of local photos, artifacts from local whaling ships and merchants who traveled the globe during the Victorian era. Revolutionary and War of 1812 weaponry and history also included and other items collected from residents of that period. Lighthouse structure and beacon turret at top fun to climb up to view the surrounding harbor and sound.”

Bar
“Historic blues bar & supper club, established in 1933. The high end sound system & big dance floor help keep the music front & center. This is the home of the venerable band, Roomful of Blues. The food tends to be mediocre, but the music is often the best bet in the area. Recently renovated Tap Room features craft brews & spins vinyl on non-performance nights. Shows are always general admission & 21+ Accommodates private events for up to 330 people.”

“Get the chorizzo fundito and thank us later. Wash it down with a margarita, tequila or cocktail of your choice. Lots of menu options with classic and creative Mexican fusion faire. Around 9:00 on weekends the bar is hopping as they have live solo or duet performers usually singing & playing country or Mexican inspired music. Take a walk around town after dinner to see what else is happening! Or come for brunch - you can't go wrong with their huevos rancheros.”
