This private romantic Cabin hidden in the trees, has great views of a city park ,with a deck overlooking a river and lake, ten minutes by bike to the city centre , on a bus route , on street parking, there's a compost loo and sink, WI-FI, Stereo and a Shower in a hut on the deck.
This is a small Eco cabin it has a compost loo and a shower, It has an electric under blanket for a warm bed and an oil filled heater to warm the space which is quick to heat. It has a sunny deck overlooking the river and lake. The compost loo and seperate shower is situated just outside on the deck. There is a kettle and a toaster Tea and Coffee and nice clean fluffy towels. Free Wi-FI and a stereo to plug your phone or Ipod into
The Cabin is located on the edge of a City Park at the bottom of my large garden, there is a side entrance the door has a key code for security. This is a very safe Nieghbourhood ,the street is part of a large post war cul-de-sac built to house teachers from the nearby private school. It is a short walk to a shopping centre and two lively communities with local restaurants and pubs. It is close to two cycle paths, with direct access to pretty walks and historical woodlands, yet still very close to the city. The front of the house is ordinary but the rear is extraordinary (Narnia )
  • Welcoming, cosy ... stunning ... peaceful !! Perfect as a Base or to spend the day relaxing listening to the birds. Such a relaxing space. Thank you

  • Wendy made us feel sooo so welcome here we had the most amazing stay in the most incredible setting. Her eco cabin is ridiculously beautiful and cozy, with the most stunning view and even had a cozy electric blanket which made it extra hard to get up in the morning. We were bowled over by Wendy's hospitality and generosity, she bent over backwards to make us feel at home (even lending us bikes!) We found it so difficult to leave and will definitely be returning to this dream break away from city life. Thanks Wendy!

  • We loved staying here so much. Such a beautiful space. Thank you for letting us stay. So cosy and an amazing outlook. We could have sat there all weekend! We were massively delayed on our journey down but Wendy made it nice and easy to let ourselves in. We really hope to make another visit soon....

    Kelly2015-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, the host is very friendly and helpful.

    Yang2015-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely Cabin, beautifully decorated and very cosy, exactly what we needed! Wendy is a brilliant host, if in Bristol again would defo stay there.

    Rosie2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely weekend! The cabin is gorgeous, it's just at the end of the garden but feels really private as it's facing outwards onto the lake and next to a beautiful magnolia tree. Absolute bliss sunbathing on the front porch in the morning sunshine with a coffee! The bed is really comfy and has an electric blanket if you get cold in the night as there's no heating, but it did the job. The gas shower is fantastic and really feels like you are showering amongst nature!! We has to get quite a few ubers backwards and forwards from town as the buses are quite irregular, but we were kindly offered bikes to borrow - which we definitely would have done if my boyfriend didn't had a knee injury. Wendy is hilarious and an excellent host, I'm sure we will be back and would definitely recommend.

  • Lovely, comfortable room, friendly hosts, beautiful, and very well-behaved baby (I did not even realise there was a baby in the house at for the first day!) . I was able to prepare my own evening meals in the kitchen, and chat to Laura and her husband. Hope to be returning in a few weeks.

  • Laura is a very welcoming host. She waited up for us to arrive and offered us a cup of tea. A great deal of thought has gone into the decorating and styling of the property. The bedroom is simple yet stylish and most importantly, comfortable.

    Jonathan2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Hazel and Andy were fantastic hosts. I was given a warm welcome and the house is lovely. It is large, as is the room. There is plenty of space to park and the house is surrounded by fields with grazing horses running around. The room is spacious with a large bed and a new Tempur mattress which was very comfortable to sleep on. Plenty of storage space for clothes. All in all a great stay and I would highly recommend anyone else to stay. Ps. Laura is Hazel and Andy's daughter and she deals with the admin emails etc. She is also great to deal with and correspondence is easy and prompt.

My place is perfect for families or groups looking for somewhere to stay - either when working away, or in transit between properties as a short term let. It has an airy conservatory/diner/kitchen overlooking the back garden - with underfloor heating for the chilly months and sun drenched in the summer months.
Its my home, but I also have an apartment on the south coast that I spend a fair amount of time in, and my partner lives about 45 mins away, so can easily stay away to allow your group exclusive use of the house.
Yate and Chipping Sodbury are midway between Bath and Bristol and on the edge of the Cotswolds. Yate is a modern town with many facilities such as a sports / shopping centre and cinema - and all within walking distance of the house. Chipping Sodbury is on the doorstep with many quaint shops and pubs.

We live within easy of Bristol (about a 20-25 min drive) and for business travellers we are a short drive to Filton and the MOD. We're also nicely situated for Bath too as well as having easy access to M4 and M5. Yate and Chipping Sodbury are 5 mins away and the Cotswold are a pleasant drive away. We hope you'll love our place because of the friendly welcome from me, my husband and 3 dogs - so you must be a dog lover! My place is good for couples and business travellers.
Two pubs within easy walking distance - one does excellent food at a very reasonable price. Lots of good pubs further afield if you want to drive.
  • Nothing to fault unless you are very (URL HIDDEN) Dee said you must be a dog lover but to me they were part of the welcom.A haven on the outskirts of a busy city but a car is essential.

  • Had a very good stay with Dee, and the lovely dogs, very very nicely set up, and a friendly home, highly recommend

    Steve2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Dee extended a very warm and helpful welcome: she was so kind and the room and ensuite bathroom were VERY clean and comfortable! Loved having a TV, tea making facilities and a mini fridge right in the room. Also, Dee' s dogs are sweet and ready for a snuggle! This was exactly the right place for me, right off the motorway and an easy place to rest during my road trip. There was a nice-looking pub just down the road: wish I'd had time to visit.

    Christine2017-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Dee is a great host and the room was very spacious comfortable, recently redecorated and was en-suite so excellent value.

    Stewart2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Dee and her husband, Alan were the loveliest hosts we ever had on Airbnb, They are such warm, open and honest people, we got to exchange some nice conversations. They have 3 lovely dogs who are so friendly, my wife was overjoyed being able to play with them. The room was clean and cozy, the private bathroom spacious and provided all goodies you might need (like at a hotel). We also got breakfast served every morning at our hour of choosing. We would definitely stay again, big recommendation.

  • a very warm welcome and went and showed me a lovely short walk for my dog Well becoming again

    Treena2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • DO NOT THINK TWICE about staying here! The room was fabulous, comfortable and SOOO spacious, lots of goodies in the bathroom - it felt like being in a hotel. I can't say enough good stuff! Dee is just so bubbly, energetic, exceptionally helpful and immediately likable. So friendly it felt as if we'd met before and her dogs were just adorable too. I even went for a walk with them with Dee. Dee offered a lovely, varied breakfast and OUTSTANDING freshly made lattes with Dee's coffee machine (I'll be including one of those in my next kitchen reno!). Great conversation, full of laughs! What a great way to start the day! The surrounding green fields and beautiful views were just lovely to see. Felt so at home from the first moment I met Dee and will be returning as soon as I can for a longer stay. THANK YOU SO MUCH DEE!!

    Anthony2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Lou was very welcoming and allowed us to check in a bit earlier meaning we got to see more of Chipping Sodbury. The house was clean and we made use of the garden in the evening to have a few drinks. Lou made us a very nice breakfast in the morning and was not in a rush to kick us out at checkout time which was great for some of us who were recovering from the previous evening. I would not hesitate to book with Lou again if visiting the area in the future.

The room itself was very comfortable with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Breakfast was good, and very much appreciated. Thank you Lou, I had a very relaxing stay at yours which added to the nourishment of having a couple of days off!

  • We had a lovely couple of days staying in the 'shed'. Tracy was very welcoming and immediately made us feel at home. The 'shed' is beautifully designed and decorated, very comfortable and prefect as a base for a short stay in this gorgeous corner of the country. Plenty of quiet country roads for cycling, trails for walking and pubs for sustenance. Extra credit due for the lovely cake waiting for us after a cycle in the rain. A wonderfully relaxing stay. Many thanks.

    David2015-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn't rate this highly enough - the barn is stunning, decorated beautifully and Tracey had included lovely extras including biscuits from the local bakery! She gave us a lovely warm welcome and ensured we had everything we needed, and gave us great advice as to the local pubs in the area too. We absolutely loved our stay and we would book again in a heartbeat!

The villages of Old Sodbury and Little Sodbury are nearby. Chipping Sodbury hosts a twice yearly Mop Fair, usually the last weekends of March and September. The town holds a Festival Week in early June. There is a farmers' market twice a month, on the second and fourth Saturdays. A Victorian Evening is held on the first Friday in December. The event starts in the afternoon when school choirs perform in the street. The evening's events begin with the arrival of Father Christmas when snow is guaranteed (from a blower). The streets are lined with stalls from local charities and organisations and old time amusements, including a Ferris wheel, Helter Skelter and two children's rides. Choirs sing, bands play, and stalls bring a market feel. A Hog Roast is held.
  • Katie is a warm and welcoming host - the property it appears is undergoing some refurbishment . Once this is completed it will be a charming place to stay.

Our place is good for couples and families (with kids). There's a small secluded garden at the back with earthen pizza oven and a covered deck. This is our (mostly) recently redecorated family home. The utility room is still needing renovation though. We are 2 minutes walk from the High Street with plenty of shops, cafes and traditional pubs. Please note: we normally have two cats living with us so beware if you are allergic. People of all backgrounds welcome!

  • Marilyn and Millie were such lovely welcoming hostesses, my boyfriend and I felt right at home in their very comfortable and clean spare bedroom. The window had a lovely view overlooking a very well manicured garden! This was a total bargain and the photographs don't do the beautifully decorated room justice! I could not fault our stay in Frampton Cotterell with Marilyn; she even very kindly taxi-ed us to collect our car in the morning which was very kind of her! Thank you again for such a lovely weekend! Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area!

    Phoebe2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Marilyn's beautiful home. She's the perfect host who takes very good care of her guests.

    Lin2016-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Marilyn was an amazing host. She was very kind and warming, the bedroom is very clean and there's a nice garden on the back where we had breakfast. Marilyn was very friendly but also gave us privacy, it was perfect!

    Ines2016-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Marilyn was the perfect host. She has a lovely and welcoming home. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Also, she makes great tea and toast, just like my Mum did Need I say more. No. if you want a comfortable and welcoming Airbnb to stop over at, then Marilyn comes highly recommended. Thank you.

    Mohammed2017-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with and at Marilyn's house was the highlight of the trip. Marilyn is one of the nicest people I've met. Welcoming from the moment I arrived, Marilyn made my stay as easy as possible, the house was spotless, a really nice place to be in and the sleep was extremely comfortable. Without a shadow of doubt, if I'm anywhere near Bristol, I will definitely be looking to stay here! Thank You Marilyn

Woodcock Farm is a small working farm set on the Cotswold Way with stunning views to the Severn Bridge and beyond. We have sheep, pigs, horses, chickens and ducks. The farm sits on an old Roman and Anglo-Saxon hill fort. Nearby is Bath, Bristol, Tetbury, Westonbirt, Chipping Sodbury, and Cirencester. We are 5 mins from J18 of M4, set in quiet, rolling countryside opposite the Badminton Estate. There are several local pubs which serve good food, with Farm Shops and local amenities nearby.
Woodcock Farm is a beautiful cotswold barn conversion, set in 36 acres of rolling countryside and woodland. You are free to walk and explore the land and farm and we'd be happy to introduce you to the animals who live here. Locally we have a wide selection of beautiful villages and towns which offer interesting independent shops, National Trust properties, great pubs and restaurants and wonderful walking. There are plenty of places of interest for all the family to visit within an easy drive - Bristol Zoo, Cotswold Water Park, Adam Henson's (BBC Countryfile presenter) farm, Longleat, Bath Roman Baths, Malmesbury Abbey and Westonbirt Arboretum to name a few. We'd be happy to help you with ideas for days out. The Farm sits on an old Anglo-Saxon Hill Fort which was also used by the Romans. The Cotswold Way crosses the land and there are many really scenic walks all around. We can lend you maps and recommend pubs and stops along the way. There is an extensive array of wildlife on the farm including hares, deer, badgers, hedgehogs, skylarks, wrens, and red kites.
The Cotswolds in one of the most beautiful parts of SW England, but close at hand if you want great shops, restaurants and nightlight Bath and Bristol are easily reachable. Our local town boasts its own bakers (Hobbs House Bakery - The Fabulous Baker Boys), Waitrose, local butchers and greengrocers as well as a great Deli/coffee shop called Hamptons, which serve a great brunch! There is a cinema and sports centre with a indoor pool in Yate, which is 15mins away, and Yate also offers a train service to Bristol Parkway. The free Park and Ride service into Bath is around 15mins drive located at the top of Lansdown, near the Racecourse.
  • Perfect for families. A lovely cosy apartment, fantastic hosts, can't recommend it highly enough.

  • Perfect rural location but still close to lots of amenities we thourghly enjoyed our stay here Caroline and Jason were perfect hosts so friendly and so lovely to our two boys so much so they didn't want to leave! Highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be returning!

    Michael2017-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Really comfortable place to stay, on a working Cotswold farm. I was on business, so had no time to explore, but it's on my list to return on a leisure trip! Many thanks Caroline!

    Geoff2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our whole family loved our time on this Cotswold farm. Our older daughter loved helping with the animals in the mornings. The space is great--clean, cozy, and well-appointed. The kitchen has everything we needed. And the local footpaths have amazing views of the valley floor with classic Cotswold farms. It's also a short drive to Bath. The host family are all fantastic and very kind. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

    Stephen2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at Woodcock Farm and recommend it to other families and travellers. My girls loved seeing the animals and having an outdoor area to play in. The apartment is comfortable, clean and well equipped with essentials such as basic cooking ingredients and tea & coffee. A home 'manual' provides good information about rubbish collection, where you can go on the farm and local places to eat. The apartment is part of the main house but has its own entrance so remains private. Caroline, Jason and Rory are lovely hosts and are very friendly. Communication was clear and prompt, check-in and check-out was straight forward and we felt very welcome.

    Sonja2017-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little flat. It was impeccably clean, comfortable and cosy. A lot of care has clearly been taken in making the place just right for guests and it shows. We can highly recommend it here!

    Kristina2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • You cannot fault the hospitality of the owners or the location and facilities of this beautiful little gem. Caroline and Jason couldn't do enough for us, but in spite of being in the apartment above their living quarters, we felt very private and separate. Everything was catered for in the apartment down to a set of weighing scales which made making pancakes in the morning for breakfast a lot easier! One of the mornings of our stay, Jason and son Rory gave me a tour of the farm, which was really special. We were only a half hour drive away from Bath and although we weren't staying long enough, there were some gorgeous - looking pubs that we were keen to try just a short drive away. We are coming back without a doubt!

  • Was going to use four in a bed format but not sure I'll remember all the questions but here goes; 1. Hosts bloody brilliant 10/10. Lovely couple, welcoming, friendly and understand the needs of their guests including flowers, cold wine in the fridge and air fresheners to make the ambience very pleasant. Upon my return that evening had curtains pulled, a few lights on and the TV on too - nice to come back to 2. Cleanliness - cannot fault 10/10. Respect totally the 'shoes off' policy to keep the cream carpets soft and attractive 3. Facilities - 10/10 great space, outdoor furniture protected by a canopy. A garden to roam around and plenty of local places to visit given the time 4. Nights Sleep - 10/10 quiet, comfy & cozy did not want to get up!! 5. Breakfast - 10/10 fresh poached eggs plus fresh coffee & juice promptly served with a smile. Cost a little extra but worth it 6. Would you stay here again - absolutely

Captivating conv barn with two king-size rooms, one en-suite, the other with separate bathroom, as well as a fully-equipped modern kitchen/ diner and cosy sitting room. Both bedrooms and sitting room have TVs. Underfloor heating throughout. Independent access on ground floor. Private, secure parking. Quiet with country views and positioned equally between Bristol, Bath and the Cotswolds in the middle of the South Gloucestershire countryside. A car is essential.
Two king size rooms with one en suite and one separate but private bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen. Cosy sitting room with Smart TV. Independent access to all rooms on ground floor. Private parking. Country views. Handy for Bristol, Bath & Cotswolds. Ideal base for Cheltenham Races, Cardiff sporting internationals and Badminton Horse Trials. Or simply as a base while you travel around the region or attend weddings/celebrations at nearby venues such as Tortworth Court and Berkley Castle. Very tranquil, in the midst of rolling countryside, but not far from main artery roads. All rooms are on ground floor level with direct access into them. Entire 2 bed, 2 bath fully self-contained area is set aside for Airbnb guests during their stay and not accessed by anyone else. We are roughly equally positioned between Bristol, Bath and the Cotswolds in the middle of the countryside, but close to three market towns, Chipping Sodbury, Thornbury and Wotton Under Edge. There are lots of walks, country pubs and supermarkets only a few minutes away. You will need a car, we can also give good recommendations for taxis if you'd prefer to leave the car at home. We have two small dogs, there are also horses in the field, just in case anyone has allergies.
We are semi-rural, in that it's very peaceful, but getting to the nearest pub, supermarket, restaurant or any other amenity will take no more than five-to-fifteen minutes. You won't be completely isolated as we are nearby in the big barn, and our closest neighbours are next door in the farmhouse. However, if you wish to be completely private there is no problem in achieving it.
  • Great place for an overnight stop.

  • James and Susan were warm, friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is fantastic, spacious, clean and ideally located for our needs. The surroundings are idyllic with fields and views to the distant countryside. Well located for walking, a good gastro pub (Royal Oak) and Indian restaurant (Spice Mahal) nearby. We will defiantly book again next time we are visiting our friends who live locally.

  • Can't recommend enough - great host who was very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was lovely with a great character to it. The underfloor heating, two larger double rooms and individual bathrooms worked out perfectly. James provided small items such as milk, tea and sugar which was a lovely touch. The communication throughout the booking was excellent whereby I’ve passed the Airbnb details on to relatives who live locally. We will definitely be booking again on our next visit. Thanks

    Michal2016-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • My colleague and I had a fantastic stay, with big double rooms and a bathroom each, underfloor heating and black-out blinds for a great night's sleep: all for the same price a cheap hotel! In the morning, we had clean towels in the bathrooms and coffee and toast in the kitchen to get us going. James was the perfect host: he helped us out with a local taxi number, directions and even a lift to and from a nearby pub with delicious food and local beers. We felt very welcome and would definitely return if we're working in the area again.

    Igraine2016-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a luxuriously-finished well-equipped apartment detached from his house. Originally a stable, it stays suitably cool in the summer and has effective heating for the rest of the year. James is a true gentleman and is very welcoming, kindly providing bread, butter and milk.

    Jon2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely quiet barn conversion in a great village. James’ hospitality and communication were great and the property was well equipped with comfy beds and a wonderful coffee machine. Would highly recommend!

  • We had an absolutely lovely stay with James and Susan in Wotton-under-Edge. James checked in with us both a day before and the early afternoon of our arrival to make sure that we knew how to get to their place, and very patiently walked us through the process on the phone when we managed to get lost anyway. We couldn't believe how beautiful their place was! The barn truly was luxury - we had the use of two very nice and spacious rooms and bathrooms, as well as an additional living room with attached kitchen. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything you could possibly need, including a luxury cappuccino maker. James and Susan kindly invited us in to their beautiful house across the driveway and we chatted over lovely glasses of wine. They helped us book a last-minute table at a local eatery, and also helped us plan out what we were going to do the following day in the area, including booking another restaurant they recommended (which was fantastic, by the way)! Susan even gave me a book that I was admiring at their house - a very sweet and generous gesture! We were sorry we only spent one evening there, and wish we could have stayed longer. We would all definitely go back. Thanks James and Susan!!

  • Lovely self-contained basement flat in the hear of the Cotswolds. Sally was a very welcoming host, the flat was very clean and the shower was powerful and hot. It was a great place to be with the dog, you go out of the back gate and you're in the fields with easy access to the Cotswold way.

    Andrew2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Sally's place is a very cozy, tastefully decorated, basement suite which is all brand new and spotlessly clean. Everything works perfectly, which is such a treat after some of the quaint hotels along the Cotswold Way! Bonus items include a washing machine and all the little extras Sally provides such as coffee & tea, a loaf of fresh bread, butter, jam, muesli and milk, and a very warm welcome! This place is only steps from the Cotswold Way ((SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps took us a few houses too far, so watch for the name of the cottage). Sally's daughter kindly let us in and Sally herself popped down for a chat later in the evening. Both Sally and her daughter are lovely! We loved this place - beds were super comfortable, tv & heating worked perfectly, shower was great. Being a basement suite, you of course do hear any walking above the suite but they were quiet at a reasonable time so we went to sleep with no problem. We were wakened in the night from something happening upstairs but they have a new baby in the family so we expect that them getting up in the night is temporary and we wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Sally's place. It truly was one of the best places we stayed along the Cotswold Way. One wee problem is the luggage moving company we used (the one from the Volunteer Inn in Chipping Campden) wouldn't deliver to Airbnb accommodations so we had to get the luggage held the previous night and moved the following day, which was a bit awkward because we had to carry everything we needed for overnight. We hope they will change that rule if enough people request it as we don't see how it's different than delivering to a B&B.

  • Sally is an amazing host! Even though our check-in was late and she wasn't available to greet us personally, she made sure that we found the place okay so that we could get settled in for the night. She gave us great recommendations during our trip in Badminton and made sure we were comfortable during the evenings. The place itself, I can't believe how much we lucked out! The room is immaculately cleaned and absolutely comfortable. 5 star accommodation for such a bargain! Our only regret was only staying there for the weekend. Definitely booking with Sally again next time we're visiting Badminton.

  • This is a great little Air B n B. It is ideally placed for visiting Bath and the beautiful surrounding villages in the Cotswold's. The flat is in the basement and has a short flight of stairs going down to it with a railing to assist. Every room has been refurbished to a very high standard and the beds are clean and comfy. The shower is bliss! There is everything you need for a lovely stay and Sally welcomed us with a bottle of wine, milk, cereal, butter and fresh bread, which was very nice to have. Sally is lovely and welcoming without being intrusive. She was a great help with local information too. We loved it and will certainly return. We fully recommend this lovely place to you.

Little Sodbury is an English village in South Gloucestershire, located between Chipping Sodbury, to the West, Old Sodbury to the South, Badminton, and the A46 road to the East and Horton and Hawkesbury Upton, to the north. The "manor of Sodbury" comprises the nearby Chipping Sodbury and Old Sodbury: it is distinct from that of Little Sodbury. St Adeline's Church was built in 1859 by William James. The 15th century, 17,385 square feet ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)] Little Sodbury Manor was the home of Sir John Walsh who employed William Tyndale as chaplain and tutor to his grandchildren in 1522-3; by tradition he began his translation of the Bible in his bedroom here. The manor retains the porch and Great Hall, with a timber roof resting on corbels carved as shield-bearing angels, of the fifteenth-century courtyard house. The house fell into disrepair in the nineteenth century, but was restored by architect Sir Harold Brakspear for Lord Grosvenor and later Baron de Tuyll. Little Sodbury's Iron Age hill fort reshaped by the Romans is accessible from the village via the Cotswold Way at grid reference ST760826. There is a Royal Observer Corps post at grid reference ST766838. Little Sodbury is one of three Thankful Villages in Gloucestershire - those rare places that suffered no fatalities during the Great War of 1914 to 1918.

  • Lovely location. Quiet and peaceful. Charming farm annex. Well equipped. Spacious, light and airy. Warm welcome and Jill was a most accommodating host. Immediately felt at home. Private outside space where we could enjoy meals. I highly recommend this property.

  • Brilliant, quiet and off the beaten track - yet only 10mins to Yate or Chipping Sodbury. We mostly only slept there as we spent most of the weekend at the archery tournament, but would be ideal for a country walk/ hikers/ cyclists or a weekend break for a young family. Jill is gracious and welcoming and the farmhouse itself is an architectural delight set in well tended grounds, shared with horses, dogs and the local wildlife. Lovely spacious and spotlessly clean. Large bedroom, Stocked kitchen, bathroom with roomy shower, sitting/dining room with extra single bed. Definitely will book there again.

    Esti2017-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Jill's- her farm is such a peaceful spot and the countryside around is really beautiful. I loved drinking my tea in the morning on the bench by the pond and watching the dragonflies, listening to the birdsong and horses whinnying! Jill took such good care of us, even bringing us fresh farm eggs. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

    Bianca2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • I booked on behalf of a colleague - and he had a great stay! Jill was a brilliant host and we have now stayed a few times and would keep coming back. The house is perfect for a stay away from home - with fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, WiFi and great parking. Communication with Jill is fantastic, before and during our stay - we would 100% recommend staying here :)

  • The annexe is really comfortable and spacious with lovely access to garden seating area. Jill was a perfect host who met us on arrival and was available if any problems presented. I hope to return in the future.

  • What can we say! The most beautiful house in such a relaxed and pretty environment. Helen was a fantastic host, she was very helpful beforehand providing us with taxi information for the area, and allowed us to drop our bags and check in a little earlier as we had a wedding reception to get to. Breakfast was amazing ! A beautiful house and 2 lovely dogs. Thank you Helen.

  • We were group of 4 friends and we staied at Helen's for one night and everything was amazing! Helen has been very kind from the beginning and very responsive to our queries! There are no words to describe the place, it was a lovely and peaceful spot in the countryside.

  • We were a group of 4 friends on Cotsway hiking during easter. The house itself situated in a very quiet and peaceful farming land and short walking distance from cotswold way. Interior is elegant and super clean. Helen and John are great host. They are very kind to drive us to town (back and forth!). Really appreciate it . The breakfast is also amazing. Anyone who have a chance to stay here should consider themselves lucky!

    Tara2017-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • A rural farm location, the main house where we stayed has been refurbished to a high standard. We had a lovely ensuite double bedroom with plenty of space for our infants cot too. There was also a separate private living room that we had full use of (note-no TV available, but this didn't bother us at all). Helen and John were both incredibly welcoming and we thank them very much for making our stay so nice. Communications prior to our arrival were quick and useful. All in all a great first time Airbnb experience for us! Thanks Helen and John!

  • I can thoroughly recommend the Granary, set in beautiful surroundings, very comfortable and absolutely immaculate. Although it is in the countryside it is within 10 minutes from a big Waitrose and nice places to eat. There's national trust properties and lovely Castle Combe to visit, so plenty to do, my only complaint is that I would have liked to stay longer. Thanks Holly

  • This cottage was idyllic, beautiful home in a stunning location. Plenty of walks locally.

    Emily2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Holly's airbnb is everything we could have hoped for, and more -- clean, comfortable, easy access to the motorway yet thoroughly country/away from it all at the same time. We were greeted with a smile and lovely little touches -- fresh eggs and butter in the well-appointed kitchen, nice bath amenities, crisp sheets on comfortable beds. Holly is accessible if need be -- right next door on the other side of the old wall -- but respecting of privacy as well. Our boys played in the nice sized garden, we parked our car in the off-road, gate-guarded space, shopped at the supermarket barely 10mins drive away, and gazed at the crystal clear, non-light-polluted stars. I cannot recommend the place more highly.

  • Very nice and completly equipted cottage. Big garden to use. Perfect place to discover Bristol, Bath and many other places.

  • This place is absolutely perfect. The location is idyllic, right in the middle of the countryside, silent, picturesque, lots of animals in nearby fields, beautiful country walks... but also close to Wickwar, Chipping Sodbury, Yate and the M4 & M5. The accommodation is wonderful. Very well proportioned and laid out.. 2 double bedrooms and one single. All with new bedding and furniture. Everything is clean and new. The two bathrooms are spotless. The kitchen is fully stocked with every pot, pan, cup, plate, utensil you could need. There is a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine... truly a home from home. The living room is clean and comfy with two big sofas and lots of DVD's, books and games to choose from. There is an abundance of light in every room but plenty of blinds to keep the place dark on early mornings (handy with early rising kids!) Holly is a wonderful, accommodating host. Her communication is fast and friendly. She even left us cookies and brownies on arrival ! Along with sachets of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and a pint of milk in the fridge!! We were offered fresh eggs from the farm which were delivered directly to the kitchen ! Fabulous, faultless place. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. I would like to live in this house !! Looking forward to going back as soon as possible. My children didn't want to go home!

    Hannah2017-09-07T00:00:00Z

  • We’ve just returned from a lovely weekend at Lisa’s Airbnb. The converted barn is beautiful, and perfect for a group weekend away. The communal spaces were cosy despite being so open plan and the underfloor heating was amazing! We had a great time in the hot tub and ate in the local pub recommended, which was less than 10 minutes away. Lisa was also kind enough to look up firework displays in the area for us. Overall a perfect weekend for a catch up with friends. Thanks Lisa!

    Caitlin2017-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in Lisa's house - there were 9 of us and we were celebrating a friend getting married. Lisa was extremely accommodating and was very helpful when answering the questions I had about the local area and organising a hot tub to be set up. The location is perfect - in between Bath and Bristol. We all caught the bus in to Bath one day as the bus stop is a 5 minute walk up the road. The house itself was very spacious and perfect for socialising and an evening in.

    Caroline2017-03-19T00:00:00Z

  • Lisa's home is fantastic. So spacious and a beautifully converted barn perfect for the group of 9 of us. Location was great, a 20min drive into Bath, where we visited the rooftop spa and did some shopping. Lisa's home was clean and organised and it was easy to settle in for our stay. Even Alan the tortoise made us feel welcome! Would recommend this venue for large groups as it's perfect with all the open space to make it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy their stay.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Lisa's beautiful house. Lisa did everything to ensure we could find the house and get settled. The house was perfect for us (9 adults and a toddler) and we spent an afternoon in nearby Bath which was lovely.

  • Myself and 8 friends (all mid-20s Londoners) stayed at Lisa's home for the weekend to have a pre-Christmas Christmas. The barn is wonderful - the design is beautiful, modern and spacious. There were Christmas decorations up and fresh towels in every room. We had a lovely stay. The barn is about 20 mins from Bristol Parkway for those coming by train and very easy to find by car.

Staying with Laura was lovely. She was a very conscientious host and she has done a fabulous job decorating her home. It was a five/ten minute walk from a central bus station, which served me well. Wo…
