American Restaurant
“Perched on the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre on Bloor St, this bar offers one of the best views of Toronto (because you can't see the CN Tower from the CN Tower). Said to be the highest patio in all of Canada, the Panorama serves up a 180-degree view of the city.”

Steakhouse
“STK is a steakhouse befitting the Yorkville neighbourhood. With its imposing metal sign, doormen, and posh second floor dining room, it fits right in. The global franchise, with locations in places like Las Vegas, Milan, London and Ibiza, keeps elements of all locations consistent, but allows local chefs to play with the menu. I'm inclined to call it "Steak" out loud as this place is primarily a steakhouse, but it's pronounced S-T-K, following the recent trend of everyone being too cool for vowels.”

Gastropub
“In the chichi Yorkville neighbourhood but mostly pretentious free. One of the only places to get a perfect cask ale! ”

Italian Restaurant
“Sotto Sotto's Italian cooking is flavorful and filling, but it may not impress food-lovers accustomed to more inventive menus—in some ways being at this restaurant is more important than eating at this restaurant. That said, the seafood risotto (which takes about 40 minutes to prepare) is incredible. ”

Bakeries

Bakery
“Sorelle and Co. is Toronto’s most indulgent and prettiest vegan cafe completely free of nuts, gluten, soy, sesame, and preservatives. Sorelle means “sister” in Italian, fitting as the entire concept was inspired by one mother’s struggles with raising five little girls with allergies. This bakery (conveniently located just below the building) offers the cutest and most scrumptious assortment of tiny desserts!”

“This store is a tad further away than Rob's No Frills, but is a bit more upscale, and though smaller than other Longo's locations, has all that you need. You'll likely find a larger selection of organic produce here as well. ”
