We'll visit 2 of our favorite cenotes and one hacienda (historical building) on ​​this day of Mayan jungle adventure & probably (hopefully) we'll have them just to ourselves (depending on the season and the day) or at least we won't find a crowd in them. The first cenote is a cavern one, with sapphire blue water (not cold) from where we will appreciate to the bottom of it (it may vary in raining season). We will start our day with a road trip to the town of Pixyah, Yucatan located an hour and a half from the city of Merida, we will visit two cenotes in the same area with enough time for us to enjoy and learn in each of the two. Uxmal & Cenotes
Let's immerse ourselves in this adventure and walk for a while through an ancient Mayan city. We will begin the tour in the Mayan city of Uxmal, where you will be able to admire impressive architecture that is different from other pre-Hispanic cities. I will wait for you at the entrance so that you can freely enjoy this place and take many photos. Afterwards, to recharge our batteries, we will eat in one of the nearby towns, a delicious and typical regional meal cooked over firewood by a local family. Enjoy Chichenitza with a professional tourist guide
Wi will enjoy the experience of learning about the Mayas for at least 2 hours of private service information with an history major and oficial tourist guide with over 30 years of experience in one of the new wonders the one and only Chichenitza. To make the experience much better I can purchase the tickets ( entrance fees at not included not Mexicans adults 643 pesos kids between 3 and 13 years 95 and for Mexicans with official id 285 pesos) before you arrive in order to avoid a long line and to save time . Will meet at the main entrance just next to the parking lot by the letters that say Chichenitza. The suggested time it's at 8.30 but depending where you are staying playa del Carmen Cancún Valladolid Mérida or a hotel nearby the beginning of the experience will be always adjustable. Then we will start the experience at the north section of the site in front of the temple of Kukulcán from there we will admire the great Ball court continue to the sacred cenote on our way to the south of the City will pass by the temple of the warriors then we head to the observatory the nunnery and the church.
A walk over the walls
To start, we will meet and begin the walk at the stairs of the Campeche's Catedral We will walk it all over the down town while I talk about it's history and importance for the City. Since there are at least 7 Strongholds or "Baluartes", we will walk, clockwise, around the city's centre to know each of them. In the noon we will be able to stop for lunch and we may eat some traditional dish of this region. Once finished the "Baluartes" walk, at the afternoon, we are going to watch the Campeche's City's famous sunset. No words can describe it. Campeche is a place where the old colonial buildings and the afternoon light match very well for excellent pictures. No need to be a pro if you want great photos.

Tour de Leyendas Se iniciará la actividad con una presentación de los participantes. Se darán las instrucciones para el recorrido, lo cual es importante respetar puntualmente. El tour inicia con una breve introducción del lugar y de las historias que se narrarán. Se adentrará en el interior del inframundo maya, un imponente cenote seco, se descenderán escaleras hasta llegar a los diversos puntos en los que contarán las leyendas mayas. A los pies de una ceiba maya, árbol sagrado de los mayas, se conocerá la historia oscura que guarda para los viajeros. Se visitará el Alux o guardián que protege este cenote sagrado, al cual se darán ofrendas de cacao como signo de respeto. Se conocerá la morada del guardián de los cenotes y su historia. También se conocerán los aposentos de los brujos mayas o wayes, su proceder para hacer maldad y cómo evitarlos. Estás y más historias se escucharán en esta experiencia. In this adventure I will take you to know three of the Homún cenotes, (Cascabel, Chaksikín and Xoch) and if we have time we will go to two more which are in the same area covering a total of approximately 8 km. I will pass by you in my car to where you are staying and we will go together to enjoy these cold waters that will undoubtedly relax us. We will start at Paseo Montejo avenue to pick up our bicycles and ride through bicycles lanes where I will tell you the secret history of the beautiful mansions and the explanation of the monuments found on this boulevard. We will head to the historic center, pausing for a refreshing fruit drink at my favorite place. Then we will continue to the new and amazing park of “La “Plancha” just three minutes away from Montejo through the gastronomic 47 street. You will learn about the history of railroads and henequén there.
