“This is the kind of place where you come all sweaty from your hike, mud all over your boots, and hang your sweaty stuff to dry by the wood-fired stove. You can drive up, but be prepared to feel out of place in your thin jacket and city shoes. It's self service, with a choice of several dishes prepared every day. No a la carte that I've seen. The ladies preparing and serving the food are very nice and friendly, and the whole place has a very cozy, homey atmosphere. Very busy on the weekends, so prepare to wait in a line, and come early or they will likely have run out of some of the dishes on the menu by the time you get there.”
