We had 3 very nice days in Luc's house. The room and bathroom were clean and luxurious. We could reach the center of Leiden by bus in less than 10 minutes, so even without a car it was very easily accessible. Luc was very friendly and gave us tips about eating in Leiden, among other things. We definitely recommend this AirBnB :)

An exceptional accommodation with lots of chic details. Luc is a very friendly host and the property is well located. By bike you are quickly in Leiden and also in 50 minutes on the beach. The Hague and Amsterdam are also around the corner by car

Luc is a very welcoming host, available and was attentive to make us spend a pleasant stay. His house is ideally located for visiting a large part of the Netherlands. All his advice helped us a lot especially on the important places to visit as well as on the free parking spaces to visit Amsterdam. The room is well equipped and very pleasant. A really great loft, close to the center of Roelofarendsveen, but a short walk to the lake and a nice bike ride to the green heart of the Netherlands. Highly recommended.

It is a great place to be. You have all you need close to the house. There is a bus that goes to schipol and the public transport is amazing. Astrid and Ed welcome you nicely and if you want for an extra fee, jessey or sydney can pick you up at airport. They are great guys.

I stood only for one night in Marvin and Henricas place but it would also be nice to stay for a longer time there. It is very clean, well organized and all the equipment in the kitchen can be used. It's a good place to explore the area around and stay in a comfortable place with very friendly and welcoming hosts. I can definitely recommend it!

A small bedroom but a beautiful large shared living room. A very friendly host and hostess, the shared kitchen is lovely to have a chat during breakfast or in the evening. They have advice on what to do in the city - tours etc and the best places to grab a cup of coffee. Everything's very clean. The home is near Leiden city centre - a 20 minute bike ride or 45 minute walk (but you can also take the bus), and much cheaper than a stay in Leiden. Highly recommended!

Marvin and Henrica were great hosts. Very attentive and helpful, the place was sparkling clean. They also offer very useful services at a very low price. The house is in a nice area, close to a supermarket and close to access to Leiden. Would recommend 100% to anyone.

A great place to stay: Two friendly and interesting hosts were waiting for me in their house, where I could use two toilets, a bathroom, a living and dining room, a kitchen with seating and a relaxing garden area in addition to my own room. Marvin & his mother Henrica (whom I rarely met) made the room so that I could work in it - great! I was able to visit my friend for a few days after consultation. During my four-week stay, I also got fresh bed linen at no additional cost: generous! (Because there is also a washing machine and I could alternatively have taken care of it myself.) In general, you are greeted generously as a guest: there is tea, coffee, oil, spice basics and filtered water at your disposal. There is a washer and dryer that can be used for a small symbolic fee. There is also a dishwasher (it is free to use;)). As already reported by other guests, the house is extremely clean: Marvin & Henrica take care of that first and foremost. But every guest is also asked to leave the rooms they use as clean as they were found. Very fair, I think, because in the end everyone benefits from it. But it also means self-activity! It is good to know that there are two other rooms that are offered via AirBnB, which makes the accommodation temporarily hostel-like: You can meet many interesting people from all over the world and share the common rooms with them. The location of the house in Leiderdorp is fantastic: very close to a nature reserve, a canal and very quiet at the same time you can be in beautiful Leiden very quickly. From there you are very well connected to other Dutch cities. There is a supermarket within walking distance of the house. Anyone who can live here for a while or is just a short visitor is definitely lucky!

For Japan The first thing I can say is that I will not regret staying here. Reasons I recommend: Personality Marvin's personality is amazing. I think he has something called the Japanese hospitality spirit. Talking with him was very fun. ②Clean, comfortable Clean and very comfortable. I always buy food at supermarkets to save money. It's usually a bland meal that you eat in your room, but the food you eat in a comfortable space with beautiful dishes in the dining room was like eating in a restaurant. ③ Location The Netherlands is a water city, but unfortunately Amsterdam is not very beautiful, but the house is located in Leiden, about an hour by train or bus from Amsterdam. This is the city called The Water City. Unlike Japan, the terrain continued and the scenery was really wonderful. Note) Transportation to the house is not always good, so we strongly recommend that you purchase discount tickets etc. online in advance. If you pay attention only to the means of transportation, the other points are great, and there are many reasons why they are not recommended here. I want you to use it.

Thank you Marvin and Henrica for having us in your nice Airbnb House. For us it was the perfect place to get to Leidenvery fast to join an acroyoga festival and having breakfast and dinner before and after that there. The friendly and well equipped kitchen and living room made it simple to feel welcome. The room was easy but for us totaly enough, we had a tea and coffee station and modern bathroom for share with others. In the evening we shared dinner and wine with marvin and had nice conversations. Also they where very helpful and unkomplicated when one of us got sick..thank you again for this. We can recommend staying at this kind place and hope seeing you both again. Best place to stay in Leiden, hands down. Ursula, Martin and their children were one of the kindest people I've met. They waited for us when our travel got delayed, provided us with stories about travel. Not to mention goods for early morning types were provided (coffee!) and other amenities. The place was very organised, clean and comfortable. A private bathroom inside the bedroom! Location-wise it was optimal to travel around the surroundings or to get a train to Amsterdam. It was nice to meet such a travelled and international family (: Thank you from Inês and Ewout.

First things first! the studio is surrounded by canals and farms and it is very lovely there. I already missed nature. Space itself is small but not too small. It is a good place for short stays but since I prefered not to use the kitchen during this coronavirus pandemic it was a bit challenging in the long term to not cook. Otherwise, it is a nice comfortable space and the host is very helpful.

Perfect little studio type of room. I was given my own personal key which made it easy for me to come and go as I pleased. The room is not directly connected to the main house so it works out perfect if you plan to come back a little late. Joeke-Linda gives you your space as if you had your own hotel room but is very friendly and will answer any questions you may have!

The studio is conveniently located between The Hague and Leiden, with a bus to both places a 5-minute walk away. But quietly situated on a beautiful lane. Since the space is not large and the toilet is not really separated from the sleeping / sitting space, the studio is most suitable for 1 person. Attentive hostess.

As previous reviewers have already noted, it is a very cozy studio in a calm and peaceful area with an extremely considerate host! Would love to stay again if I find myself in the area again :)

Very peaceful setting. Between 2 great places to visit, Leiden and Den Haag. Easy accessible by bus, which is 2 minutes walk. A large stylish hotel is opposite, which has very reasonable priced food and drinks. For a short stay in a nice area, great value for money 🙂

Quiet and wonderful area. Small and clean room. Suitable for two persons. Joeke Linda was always friendly and helpful too. Communication and check-in went smoothly and we also had our privacy. Will recommend if you want to visit Voorschoten or Leiden and stay overnight

Floris is a very nice and friendly host. The apartment was bigger then i thought, clean and cozy and there was everything we needed! If we had a Problem Floris was very fast answering. Check-in and check out was easily. Another good point is the bus stop 10 meters from entrance where you can go everywhere you want. It takes about 40min to amsterdam. If we go a 2nd time to North Holland then we are staying here again! Thank You Floris :)

Floris's place was very stylishly decorated, and supplied with all the amenities. I was surprised at how large it was. Floris responded very quickly to our questions, and was very welcoming when we arrived. Great sense of humor too. :)

Floris was a very personable host who was very accommodating when it came to check in and checking out. The space is really nice with fast internet. It does have a shower which I wasn't quite sure of from the descriptions though I probably just missed seeing it as it also has a washer too which I didn't know about among the other amenities. Only caveat is that the bedroom is on the 3rd floor with 2 flights of narrow stairs (which are common in the multi- level building in the Netherlands) . Overall, a wonderful place to stay in a nice part of leiden.

I have stayed in Gaby's B&B for two weeks and had a very good stay. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The house has a classical furniture style. Gaby was allways very helpful and attentions with anything you would need or ask. Breakfast included and allways ready on the agreed time with Gaby. Good host and good quality for money accomodation.

Gaby is the true super host! She really looks after you and goes the extra mile! Gaby even prepares breakfast for her guests. She prepared a delicious breakfast for me. Gaby is very flexible and accommodating with the time of the breakfast and check-in. The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated by Gaby and full of character. My room was sparkling clean and very cosy. I truly enjoyed my stay. Just one regret - I didn't spent enough time there. I can absolutely recommend staying with Gaby!

Gaby is a wonderfully kind and knowledgeable host. We had many inspiring conversations about common interests, and felt we were being treated us like friends rather than mere paying guests. The free roadside parking just outside was an added bonus, and it is an easy walk to the city centre. We mostly chose the side road, since we like wandering along the canals. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfy bed, cute furnishings, very clean, quiet, warm (I was there in January when it was very cold outside), with a kind host. The only thing I didn't expect was the very steep spiral staircase, but I'm very out of shape and 50+ so if I can do it, probably any able bodied person can do it. The delicious, huge-variety breakfast and the view onto the garden during breakfast were probably the highlights of my stay. The bathroom is shared but Gaby was very accommodating in that regard, so I never felt like I was intruding on her space or she on mine.

Nice and casual place to stay in Leiden! Even though it was a shared space it felt private and Xiachen was a great host :) It is definitely a small bed for two people but my friend and I shared for a night which was totally fine!

The Hause is nice and small typical Dutch in a nice area of Leiden close to a Supermarket. The personal check Inn was really convenient. A highlit was the Terrace . If you are OK with cats I can recomand the staying at thice nice place.

Great place and location, super close to city centre and busstop is around the corner. Xichen gave us great tips for local events, the floating Christmas Market was amazing! And she was very flexible with the checking out also. Defo recommended!

This accommodation is almost too good to be true. Coming to Willemijn and Nils is like visiting friends, they've thought of everything and if you need something then you can always talk to them. They have the most beautiful chickens I have ever seen. And as a starting point to get to know Holland perfectly!

Staying in Willemijn’s and Niels’ beautiful cottage was a real holiday treat! We enjoyed our time there so much, we wish we had planned to stay longer than only 4 days. There is so much to see and do in and around Leiden and the cottage is a perfect starting point. Also Amsterdam is easy to reach. Willemijn and Niels had a lot of great advice for us which was helpful to best plan the limited time we had. We definitely advise to explore the area by bike! After exciting day tours it was always great to return to the lovely cottage and enjoy time there. Thank you again for the wonderful holiday!

Willemijn and Niels’ place is perfectly situated on the outskirts of Leiden, a short bus or bike ride away from the old town, and right on a net of wonderful bike trails through meadows and small copses. They welcomed us with some tasty treats and were always available if we had questions. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Wonu‘s sweet, little home was great. Leiden turned out to be a super cite and nice place to be. We made Daytrips to Amsterdam and Rotterdam with wich Wonu was always happy to help. I would recommend everybody to stay in her lovely home!

I stayed at Wonu‘s place for 5 weeks while studying at Leiden university. The house and room was lovely and the location also perfect, only about a 25 minute walk to university. I would recommend staying here!

We had a lovely stay at Sara's place, its the perfect spot for a Dutch countryside getaway. The rowing boat and bicycles are a great way to explore the area. The cabin itself is lovely. I highly recommend booking this place!

Sara is very hospitable and is in a beautiful location. The cabin is well maintained and tastefully decorated. A tray of goodies was on the table as a welcome. Sara was present when we arrived, explained everything well and kindly to us. The photos provide a clear picture, two bicycles and a boat are present. We had a good time despite the windy weather. If we succeed, we will definitely go back with better weather!

This cabin is magical. It was so wonderful to row through the canals in the mornings. We even enjoyed ourselves in the cold rain. Brisk bike rides, walks, and rows made coming home to the cabin even cozier. It was the perfect final stop after so many months of travel.

We’ve stayed in Ralph’s accommodation for a few days. The host is very nice, the room is tidy and the location is very good as well. Recommended!

Great location and great corner

Ralph was a great host and communicator. He made the whole AirBnB process very easy and responded quickly over the AirBnB app when I had questions . The location is perfect for walking, a lot of nice stores and restaurants are within walking distance. The steps are quite steep so be careful when walking up and down, especially if you’re moving bags and luggage. As a whole, Ralph’s AirBnB was very accommodating and I would stay there again if I travel to Leiden in the future.

Willemien and Maurice were great, friendly hosts! The arrival was easy, we were expected and warmly welcomed. During our stay we could contact them at any time and ask for advice. The two live upstairs, are therefore easy to reach, but also respect privacy. The apartment is super cozy and well equipped (steam bath, bathtub, fireplace, huge couch, air conditioning, Chromecast ..). The cleanliness was great, the furniture was modern and tidy. Zoetermeer as a place has the flair of a suburb with good shopping opportunities in the "Stadshart". The connection to The Hague and Rotterdam is very good by tram and metro. By car you are also quickly in the cities and on the beach in Scheveningen. We thank Maurice and Willemien very much for the nice days and will definitely be back!

The appartment is nice and makes you feel like home. Well equiped with technology, warm fireplace, excelent and super fast internet, good beds, tv with a lot of chanels, nice hospitality and very quite. The location is ideal for day trips around the country.

Beautiful area. Clean is comfortable. Perfect for a couple, a little less for people less intimate by the lack of shower protection and a simple curtain for the toilet. I really recommend this place

We had a great weekend, relaxed by the private spa and paddled by canoe through the Dutch waters. It rained 1 day but that was not bad at all because we could enjoy the sauna. Don and Dera are very friendly people and really went out of their way to make you feel pampered and important!

With Don and Dera you immediately feel comfortable. It is a very relaxing place and the apartment is super nice. It is very clean and communication was easy and friendly. We would love to come back :)

I enjoyed the two nights in Rijnsaterwoude. The sauna was nice and hot, fantastic!

Very pleasant room with impeccable cleanliness, not far from Amsterdam. We disconnect in this little paradise thanks, among other things, to the warm welcome of Don and the use of the sauna.

Excellent stay at Don & Dera, very kind and friendly host, responsive and accommodating on arrival and departure times. The accommodation is very well equipped, clean, and quietly located in a very pleasant setting. I recommend 100% and would like to go back there on sunny days to enjoy the lakes right next to the houses.

A unique place in the garden with Don and Dera. Very hospitable, enthusiastic people. We enjoyed the sauna and the small gifts (tasty drinks and refreshments are ready for use). For us it was a very nice place along the Marskramerpad. (There is a busy road past the house, but you don't hear anything inside!)
