Parks & Nature

A beautiful park and if you continue along the Dam wall there is an easy natural bush track, we love this park in the cooler months (no snakes). The views are spectacular, mountains, bush and waterways as well as wildlife.

Just around the corner from the cottage, take yourself on a hike, you'll have to drive through the stoney creek to access the National Park but it's beautiful and has a picnic spot. There are some big hikes here too if you have the time.

Hike the mountain and on a clear day you can see all of Melbourne from it's peak, this is another great spot to get up close to Australia's natural bushland....... every other winter we even get snowfall on Mt St Leonard!

Awesome food, 15 minutes drive out of town, make sure you call ahead to secure your table. The Chef at Meletos is tops and his family own St Leonards Cottage, so we should know ;)

Great food and wine, breakfast on the weekends too, get your daily bread form here and a bottle of wine for later and why not look through the back wall/window at the working winery.
