The award winning Signal restaurant is a great place to enjoy a meal and is literally across the road. in less than 5 mins you can relax without the need for queuing at a taxi rank.
it is also a great spot to grab some bar food or chill in the garden with a coffee or some prosecco.

Fergie Maguire's Pub
Kilmessan VillageLovely pub grub and great place to enjoy a snack and a pint in the evening sun.
One of my favourite (and regular) places to have breakfast or lunch. Enjoy beautiful food after a lively stoll on the Hill. About 10 minutes by car, or an hour by foot.
Why not grab one of the guided walk headphone sets to find out more about the very very special place. Magic, faeries, folklore and of course the seat of the High Kings of Ireland.

Sightseeing
A must see, try to avoid lunch time - it's really busy. Mornings and early evenings are best. Lovely sunsets too. Buy the little mp3 guided tour in the shop (€9.99) and discover why this place is sooooo special. Its where the high kings of Ireland were inaugurated and where you can touch the Stone of Destiny, and see what it reveals for you (the answer is in your heart). See a genuine fairy tree (but please be careful and respectful) Magical and mystical :))
