This is a non-profit organization that leads ecological conservation, restoration, and preservation of some of Puerto Rico's most important natural resources and historical sites. They offer tours of the only running sugar-mill of its kind in the world and the history of sugarcane in Puerto Rico as well as bike tours of the important river and coastal ecosystems too.

Where the locals go. Great swimming beach with paddle board rentals on the weekends (as well as beach bbq parties on the weekends). I recommend going during the week for a more tranquilo experience. Parking is free on weekdays in the lot, and along the side of the road during the weekends.
