85 Forest DrInexpensive and delicious Thai food. Donuts that are made with a secret ingredient that make them really good (although I think you need to be careful to not buy the ones they get at Sam's Club, which is a whole different recipe and *not* what makes them great)...

The restaurant is very old-fashioned, a little dark. The crab cakes are the best as far as I know.

Great bakery - I think the almond croissants are the best thing on the menu. The coffee is also excellent.

Neighborhoods
Beautiful old neighborhood, once the weekend cabin getaway spot for people from DC, the houses are built into spots on the hill that overlook Chase Creek. Very pretty walk down to the beach. Steep walk back up! There's a park for children and dogs a block away. The BNA trail is towards Route 2, also close.

Annapolis is a historic town with lots to tour, beautiful views and an abundance of shops and restaurants. The main drag is Main Street. You can park on King George St with nine hours of free parking and walk past St. John's College, the Naval Academy, the capital and other state government buildings, around Church Circle, down Main Street and/or West Street (where the shops and restaurants are), and around city dock. Take a round trip on the water taxi for a short trip around the harbor or there are longer boat rides you can rent. Go over the Spa Creek (draw) bridge and walk around Eastport. There's a Maritime Museum at the east end of Second Street with good views of the mouth of the Severn and the Chesapeake bay.

The Baltimore Inner Harbor is a very nice place to visit with lots of shops and restaurants. There is a mall across the street that you can get to via an overpass, which is also fun. The Aquarium is within walking distance of the Inner Harbor, as well as the Children's museum - both are worth a trip.

The historic mall of museums, where you can see the Capital, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, the Smithsonian museums and the White House in Washington DC is only a 45 minute drive from here. It is very close if you've never seen it.
