Prescott’s famous courthouse is surrounded by a beautiful park that you can enjoy by sitting on the grass and people watching. The courthouse plaza is also used for craft fairs, art exhibits and food vendors on select dates.

This lake in between Prescott and Prescott Valley will make you feel secluded and peaceful. It’s setting in the woods is idyllic. You can rent a canoe or walk the hiking trail around the lake.

Watson lake and park is a beautiful place to spend the day. You can rent kayaks, fish, play frisbee golf and do tons of Boulder climbing. The boulders around the lake will make you feel like you are on another planet.

Prescott began as a frontier town in 1864 and today is known as one of the top 5 western towns in the USA. Whiskey Row opened in 1877 and lived through 3 major fires. At one time there were more than 40 saloons standing one after another and served the likes of Wyatt and Virgil Earp, Doc Holiday and Big Nose Kate.
