The park encompasses 165 hectors of land and offers several picnic sites, beautifully kept lawns, playgrounds, baseball diamonds, bike paths, tennis courts, cross country skiing and tobogganing hills. Often the park is used for photo opportunities such as weddings and reunions. In December and January the park is used by the annual Lions club Christmas light display.
