Old part of town by the river, very historic area, once run by the Italian mafia! Now home to a lot of ethnic cuisine and gift shops, a steam boat museum, and the weekly farmers market. The area also boasts a fabulous walk down by the river, a great place to watch the sunrise/sunset. Close by is Columbus park, also home to many delicious authentic ethnic restaurants.

My absolute favorite breakfast spot! worth the trip! about a 15-20 mint drive to downtown. Food is fresh, all locally sourced. Their Bloody Mary's are on point!
The French toast with the pecan butter, potato bowl, sweet potato pancakes, and The Morning After, are all incredible choices here!
