Local Indian restaurant, 5 minute walk from the front door. Really great food, a little pricey but go for the set menu at the back for good value 2 courses.

Sightseeing
Nice day out at Gunwharf if you haven't been before. A designer outlet with loads of shops, famous chain bars and restaurants and a cinema and bowling alley, good spot to go to if you have a day spare. Head up Spinnaker Tower too for amazing views of the city and over the Solent to the Isle of wight

Nice day out at Gunwharf if you haven't been before. Home to the Royal Navy & HMS Victory, HMS Warrior & the Mary Rose museum you can easily spend a whole day in the Dockyard in the various museums and tours. wear comfy shoes as you will be on your feet all day exploring!

Our favourite area of the city, Palmerston Road and the nearby Osborne Rd, Clarendon Rd, Castle Rd and Albert Rd are home to some of the city's best independent bars, restaurants and boutique shops, as well as some high street favourites such as Debenhams and John Lewis. Southsea Library has a lovely gift shop, Southsea Coffee Co is a favourite stop for great coffee and a healthy (but delicious snack) and Drift Bar and Saint Yago are great for cocktails.
