What to pack

Weather

weather can change drastically, so keep an eye out on ther weather, bring both sweaters and shorts, because of chinooks, it can snow in august or be +20 in January. it tends to be sunny though.

transit

especially in the winter ariving 5 min at least in advance for transit, because it has a habit of being late then trying to catch up by quickly speeding by stops. also the lrt is no charge between 7th street station and city hall, outside of the it is a charge.

calgary is a driving city, so there's alot of parking lots downtown, but they do cost,

calgary is a business city so most things downtown shut down around 5 pm. its a ghost town after 6pm.
