According to TIMESOUT magazine: "La Flor offers sweet and savory Mexican-fusion meals that will leave your mouth watering. The menu heavily features dishes from south of the border (tacos, tortas, quesadillas), but the salads and omelettes, will hit the spot while remaining healthy."

If you’re hoping to hear some true Irish brogues look no further than the bartenders and regulars at this rather large pub and sport bars. With 24 beers on tap, they’ve got plenty of local brews, craft IPAs and rare pours—but they’d be just as happy to get you a Guinness, if that’s what you’re after.

City advice

Getting around

MTA

Depending on how long you'll stay, I would highly recommend purchasing a weekly metro card. This would allow you to use your metro card as many times as you want a day and you'll only have to pay $30 dollars, instead of $2.75 a fair. However, its only good per person.
Customs and culture

Eye contact

It is true that New Yorkers are slightly aggressive my best advice is to just smile and look away. lol
Book before you go

YELP

YELP is everything. it allows you to look up what's near you from food or places to have fun at.
Ways to save

Cook at home

There is a grocery store a few minutes away from the apartment, I suggest the best thing to do to help you save money while traveling is to cook at home.
