Born and raised in the neighborhood this spot offers great beer and even better food, if that’s possible? Get the chili cheese dogs or the Cuban Rueben and if you like craft beer the Big Jim.

This was one of the first vintage stores I feel in love with and I hold this one close to my heart. A great mix of home goods and vintage clothing you will adore this shop, and bonus it's just as cute outside as it is inside.

City advice
What to pack
Sturdy shoes or boots
When it's below freezing and everything turns to ice it's almost impossible to get around in heels - something with a little more grip and a bit more coverage but still cute is best!
Getting around
An Uber, Lyft or Taxi is the easiet way to get around.
You can get just about anywhere in the city for under $20 and they drop you at the door - a huge bonus when it's below zero.
Book before you go
Make Reservations if Possible
The popular restaurants in the area tend to fill up fast. It's best to call ahead and make reservations if possible.
Don't miss
First Avenue
It's a great place to see music and Prince got his start there, not much more needs to be said.
Don't miss
The Sculpture Gardens at the Walker Art Center
You can't come to Minneapolis and not see the famous Spoon and Cherry sculpture. It's iconic.
Don't miss
Minnehaha Falls
They are pretty all season long. I know that's kind of hard to believe but have you ever seen a frozen water fall, it's pretty amazing. If you go in the summer be sure to grab a bite at Sea Salt.
