Parking is mostly street side and hard to find during peak dining hours.

“Housing Development” is not quite what I’d call it! If you want to see the most enormous and expensive homes in Naples, take a drive through Olde Naples, Port Royal. Good rainy day activity.
Follow the speed limits through there.

Book before you go
Dining reservations!
Never assume the restaurants will have open seating for walk-ins. They book fast! Best chance for last minute reservations is to be willing to eat late. Our older crowd eats dinner between 4:00-6:00.

Drive safely
Remember driving safety rules ? People don’t use them here during season. Don’t take your eyes off the road. Use of blinkers, stop signs, brakes, turn lanes, speed limit minimums, road sharing... all seem to get ignored at some point.

Getting around
Late night roads are empty ...
This means our fine officers are lurking :) waiting for someone to be drinking and driving, or speeding, or not paying attention. Even during the day, watch your speed, they are! Late night is around 9:00pm, the carpets roll up. The bars are open but no one is on the road. The Mercato will be your best bet if you’re looking for ‘after hours’ life. There is a place named “North Naples Country Club” ... it’s a bar and I do not recommend it. It is not a country club by any stretch of the imagination.
