City advice

What to pack

Don’t forget

Always carry extra H20. Wear Sun protection: clothes, lotions, hat and sunglasses, hiking or comfortable walking shoes.
Customs and culture

Beware of your surroundings.

There are packs of Coyotes mostly skittish and shy, until feeding time. Watch your small pets. Never leave them outside alone. Beware of Owls that will hunt your small pets. Scorpions, Rattle and other snakes roam freely about. Eyes wide open, blue light flash lights, and common sense when hiking. Javelinas also travel in packs, rummaging for food, cactus flowers and are very protective of their young. Bobcats and Mountain Lions...Do not approach and packs or dangerous animals. Don’t turn your back and definitely do not run - yell, make noise, make yourself as big & aggressive as possible .
Don't miss

Annual Events

The Tucson Gem Show ( February) The Rodeo. The Loop over 100 miles of bicycle pathways around the city and suburbs. Glow Festival in Oracle. The Winter haven Neighborhood in Tucson December Christmas light spectacular. TO BE CONTINUED..
