Public Transport
The two U-Bahn (subway) lines, going right by the apartment, are very good starting points to get around (e. g. sightseeing locations, clubs, etc.) Even for further destinations usually only require one change of train or bus. (Both Apple and Google Maps have transit info for Berlin built-in)
