Food scene
This is the closest beach to your room. They have concessions for food and drinks, a swim beach, music (Karaoke on Thursday nights), and picnic benches. It is about a 5 minute walk down the hill.

Sightseeing
In my opinion, this is the best snorkeling on the island. There are amazing barrel sponges, coral "brains" large schools of small fish and small schools of large colorful fish, it's different every time we go. You can take a 10 minute water taxi from Soufriere Beach Park or you can also walk in to the Sugar Beach Resort to access the beach.

Groceries and liquor
There is a grocery store, Erolines, within walking distance of your room. They have everything from cereal and snacks to meat, cheese, and champagne. They take credit cards.
Getting around
Walking to town
The hotel is on a steep hill, but a walk to town is 5-10 minutes. Don't overload with groceries as it's a bit of a steep climb on the way back! We can always arrange for a ride for $5-10 EC each way ($2-4 US). Other rides to further destinations can also be arranged.
