This a nice park about 15/20 min walk from the flat. Nice views of The Plym.... lovely old boat still there rotting.

This is near Plymstock. It’s a bit of a walk from the flat but nice for a stroll in the sun. There is a nice cafe called the Mess Room.

Take a short boat ride to the Barbican. Leave the car in the Mountbatten Pub free car park (past Oreston). Only 5-10 min car ride from the flat. Catch the Mountbattern Ferry to the Barbican. Runs every 30 mins on the hour and half past weather permitting. Take a stroll down the pier watch people fish. Small beach there and a nice pub.

One for everyone. Close to the town ... close to the Barbican. Everyone should make a visit to Town, The Barbican and the Hoe. Nice coffee shops, nice pubs and places to eat. Visit Captain Jasper . Park in town, walk up to the Hoe, walk down to the Barbican and back to Town for a circular walk.

It’s a place where you can go for nice lunch.... a lovely evening dinner. Not much for the kids but a nice place for a drink with friends This is located in Stonehouse - the other side of town. There is also a nice park for a stroll called Devils Point.

This is a great alternative to the beach. You will find families picnicking around Cadover Bridge .. they jump and swim in the cool, clean water. Take a picnic and park up near the river

Also a place to visit if near Looe and Polperro. It’s a big shopping centre. Nice place for kids as usually have animals There is a second Trago Mills ... Newton Abbott... we normally drop in on journey home - back to London. Prob an hour down the road

Not easy to get to... a bit of a walk and only open Wed and Sunday I believe. Blue velvet was filmed here... great for rockpooling ... I love this beach if going for the day. No loos or cafes here

Barbican, The Hoe and Town

There is an Aquarium, boat trips, lots of cafes, places to eat. Quayside.....from the Barbican head up the hill to the Hoe, where this is an open side swimming pool, beaches and rock pools. Great place for hanging with friends..lovely walk and visit the light house. A must. Close also to the Town....
Don't miss

If you visit the other side of Plymouth - The moors - takein

Tavistoc, Prince Town, Burrator Reaervoir - pass through more stop off at Cadover Bridge (on the moors near Yelverton). There is also a National Trust house on the moors
