Getting around
Be careful of your personal belongings.
It is not very often but muggers (sb who steals wallets or purses) exist in Athens. Always keep your bag with your papers, cards or money in front of you. Usually thieves try to attract your attention by asking you sth or creating a small fuss inside the metro, while another person takes your purse. They also take advantage when they see you focusing on your phone. Be as much as possible alert.
