City/town information

Sisters is such a great little town, full of nice little shops and restaurants. If you want a great piece of stake to put on the grill, pick it up at Sisters Meat and Smokehouse on your way back.

While in Bend take a tour of Deschutes Brewery. The first micro brewery in the area. Bend is Beer Town USA. Pick up a Bend Trail atlas and passport and visit the town with more breweries per-capita than any other city in Oregon. During the summer months take any floatable device you can find and go to Riverbend Park. There is plenty of parking available and take a leisurely float through town on the Deschutes River to Drake Park. For a few bucks the city provides shuttles to get you and your raft back to where you started. Soooo fun. Don't forget your sunscreen.
