Head east to the water, then turn north. A sidewalk winds its way for miles. Along the way you will pass the new St. Pete Pier (with restaurants, ice cream, playground, splash pad, etc), the History Museum, a children's play ground, tennis courts, beach volleyball, and gorgeous views of Tampa Bay. It's a great place to ride a bike or go for a jog.

Getting around

Bike and scooter rentals

You can rent a bike from a Coast bike share kiosk. There is one around the corner from the house on 3rd Ave S. Rentable by app. Coastbikeshare.com You can choose a plan depending on how long and often you want to ride, starting at $15/hr. There is also scooter rental by a separate app with either Veo or Razor. A corral is at the end of the block on 4th Ave S. They cost $1 to start and between 33-37 cents a minute to ride.
Getting around

Trolleys

There is the Central Avenue Trolley that goes from the new downtown pier all the way to Pass-a-Grill beach on the Gulf, with stops all along the way. Regular cash fare is $2.25 for each ride, but there are also multi-day unlimited ride options. psta.net If you just want to get around downtown, there is a free downtown looper. A map with stops is also available at psta.net
