St. Petersburg is very dog-friendly. The beaches that allow dogs aren’t as “nice” as the other beaches, but it’s nice to be able to bring the pups. In fact, most restaurants with open patio space are dog-friendly. Just call and ask before going, to be sure.
Walk to Lassing Park from the house. It’s a dog friendly neighborhood park. Leashes are technically required, but I see dogs swimming and wading in the water off-leash all the time.
