The prettiest mountain bike trail in the Tahoe Basin. Park behind Tunnel Creek Cafe (if you are renting bikes) and you can rent bikes and get a shuttle to the start of the trail through Flume Trail Bikes. It’s a 12.8 mile ride that goes by Marlette lake and then along a gorgeous single track overlooking the lake.

Hiking

This hike is an out-and-back hike that follows Hunter Creek and culminates in a waterfall. This 5.8-mile hike starts in a desert landscape and turns into a pine forest as the elevation increases. It is dog-friendly and the creek is perfect for dogs to cool off in.
