It takes about 2 hours to get up to the top and down again. This local mountain is a bit of a challenge, fabulous views and perfect for a picnic. Afterwards there are several local pubs to enjoy or have an ice cream from Suggits in Great Ayton.

With a mix of industrial and natural landscape, the South Gare has a unique beauty. The views from here are stunning and "Paddy's Hole" is a great place to sketch the little fishing boat or just sit on a bench and contemplate life.
