Tampa has all the things you would imagine a larger metropolitan city to have; a theme park (Bush Gardens), sports arenas (The Lightning, Tampa Buccaneers), an aquarium (The Florida Aquarium) and of course many restaurants and shopping opportunities. For an upscale mall, visit the International Plaza - for a more local shopping experience, visit Hyde Park. I recommend searching YELP for restaurants based on your location desire.
YBOR is a fun area to visit - the Columbia restaurant offers entertainment while dining and is a must if you plan on visiting YBOR.

Taken Directly from our guests: " This area is nice, safe, & close to grocery stores the Publix is 5 min drive. Also, some great food options especially if you are into small mom & pop restaurants and food trucks. The fish house is 3 minutes away/ Camaleon Mexicana has some great authentic tacos but their burritos hit the spot/ also try the dog house for Beef Brisket. We choose Ruskin because it's within 30 min to 45 min to 5 great areas. The St Pete beach, Clearwater Beach, Anna Maria beaches, Tampa boardwalk, & Siesta Key beach/Sarasota. Our favorite is Siesta beach."
