Great hike! Starts out a bit steep but levels out. Especially beautiful in the spring with flowers blooming. About a 5-8 minute drive from The Pendulum, pack a lunch and enjoy while taking in the amazing valley views!

City center is a short walk, you’ll want to drive as well.
The center of Kernville is an easy walk from The Pendulum but many recommended areas you’ll need a vehicle. There is a local shuttle but no Uber or Lyft. Kern Valley Shuttle 760-223-2938
