Caltrain is convenient for getting into San Francisco
Caltrain is a commuter train that has stops at cities up and down the peninsula. Make sure to check the schedule in advance as not all trains stop at all cities and trains typically run every 30-60 minutes and the schedule varies on weekdays and weekends.

To get to San Francisco, you can take Caltrain Northbound to the final destination OR transfer to BART at the Millbrae Station.

You can take Caltrain Northbound to the Millbrae Station and transfer to BART to the SFO airport, but be aware that Caltrain does not run frequently so you will need to plan ahead.
