This is one of the best pizza slice places in the city...you'll see if you get a chance to check it out, the line is typically out the door, but don't let that discourge you: it moves fast!

This actually is rated by many publications as the best pizza restaurant in all of New York. You'll find that the line will most likely be out the door, but if you are willing to wait 30 minutes, you can't find a better pie anywhere else. I'll let you in on a secret...order a take out pie over the phone, takes 10-15 minutes to prepare and you don't have to wait on a line outside :)

This is a small chain specific to NYC, and essentially if you are a fan of Chipoltle they mimic what chipotle does almost identically, but after starting to eat here I have never been back to Chipoltle because Dos Toros is honestly that much better

This is French restaurant not too far from the apartment, but if you like a good French Onion Soup accompanied by Steak Frites, it doesn't get better than here. Prices aren't cheap, but the decor and food is worth every penny

Drinks & Nightlife
So if you're into awesome lounges and like the concept of a 'speakeasy' then check this place out because it's one of the coolest around. Drinks will run you no less than $15 each so it's not a type of place to order it up, but it's built on top of a Five Guys...yes as you enter the Five Guys you feel like you're walking back in the diretion of behidn the counter, but then appears a staircase taking you up to the scene
