City advice

Don't miss

Go on a bar crawl

Take yourselves on a bar crawl. Whatever neighborhood you want to wander around is ideal for this. Some favorite breweries of ours: Baerlic, Stormbreaker, Breakside, Level, Gorges, Hair of the Dog.
Book before you go

McMenamin's soaking pool

Give them a call in advance to ask what the pricing is and see if you can get a time!
Ways to save

Remember: No sales tax! Enjoy the shopping.

Great gift shops in the NW 21 & 23rd hoods (Nob Hill) and Hawthorne Ave. Of course, there's also Powell's, which IS worth the hype!
What to pack

Rain jackets, comfy shoes

If you need any other gear, let us know! We have extra hiking gear, and lots of umbrellas.
