Their €12 deal (everyday until 6pm I think) is amazing, its a two course meal with a small glass of house wine. You can get lots of different pizzas on it, or pasta, or even steak. And its a proper Italian, run by Italians. Great food.

Huge park, with Zoo near the city gate. If you have time, rent bikes at the gate or bring in the Dublin Bikes and cycle up to the Papal Cross, where there are herds of wild deer. You can bring carrots and feed the smaller ones if you go quietly. Great park for a picnic.

Busy park but nice to have a walk around or a picnic in. Buy your picnic in M&S at the bottom of Grafton St and a five minute walk away is this Victorian park. Lots of ducks to feed.
