Hands down the best cheap Mexican fast food. These are the nearest taco carts. One is located behind the Red Alarm Saloon on State st.. the other is in the parking lot of Discount TIres on 7200 South. Try the Torta with carnitas. Messy but delicious.

City advice

Getting around

Skiing weekends or Holidays?

The traffic to the Cottonwood Canyon resorts can be insane during the weekends and Holidays. Ski Deer Valley (no boarders) instead. They are $$$$ and you'll need to reserve your tickets but they limit the number of guests and you'll never wait in a line longer than 15 min. *Woodward - For park rats but also beginners. Outlying resorts. *Snowbasin is a world class resort and only a 60 min drive. *Powder mountain is slightly further but you won't see a line all day. It's also the largest ski area in all of North America.
Getting around

Riding on Snow days?

Snow days? My advise for beginners is to go sledding in town, do some site seeing, hit the spa or gym. New snow is difficult to learn on, instructors would rather be riding and everything else becomes a hassle. For powder hounds check out the UDOT traffic app for road conditions and live web cams. Leave early and plan on a long commute. You know the drill.
Getting around

Windy / white-out days?

Solitude, Brighton, PC and DV are better than the Bird and Alta on those whiteout sessions because there are more trees to give you some reference. The chairlifts are somewhat sheltered too.
