It's very French. I love their viennoiseries, the expresso coffee is the real deal. It's conveniently located in the centre of town opposite Carfax.

It's a Norman abbey, it's well conserved, it's still in use, there is the grave yard with its beautiful flowers. Next door is the local museum and, in the summer, the tea room run by local volunteers (I warmly recommend it, it's delicious).

It's close to town, it's well maintained, there are benches to have a rest, there is a pond with ducks and water hens etc. so it's interesting (inc. for children).

It's in the middle of town, if you are lucky you'll see the cows, the river goes through it.
