Traditional old style pub. Serves both pub meals and has a more formal restaurant dining offer. Lovely location. Great for a beer too. And on colder days the log fires are an added bonus

For odd bits shopping the Service Station at Newby Bridge has a fairly well stocked shop. Most essentials are available but tends to have that service station pricing. This is also the nearest place for beers and wines which actually are reasonably priced.
