Take a trip to Skomer Island. Best time is Spring for the flowers and May/June to see the bird life including Puffins. It will mean an early start as there are limited numbers allowed on the Island each day.

A really fun boat trip for all ages but you do need to be able to climb down and up to the old lifeboat station at St Justinians. There is a chance of seeing porpoises on this trip, as well as numerous sea birds and seals. August-October is best if you want to see seal pups.

Pretty Tenby harbour, north and south beaches and the town will have something for everyone. It can get very busy in summer. Be prepared to walk as the town is closed to traffic during the summer months.

Fabulous beach but be prepared to climb over the pebbles that form the flood defence. The road floods with winter storms and the pebbles get washed onto the road. Great for surfers and other water spots. Wetsuit hire available.

Walk down to St Govan’s Chapel but beware it is steep and can be slippery in wet weather. Definitely worth the effort though. See the Eligag stacks and the numerous birds nesting in early summer.
