Fabulous fish and chips to eat in the beachfront pub or takeaway to eat on Slapton beach. This beach is famous for its major part in D Day. There is even a tank which was recovered from the sea and is now a memorial.

A garden centre with craft shops and a cafe. We like to walk here from Monty’s through woods and along the beautiful Avon river. Indulge in a spot of lunch or coffee and cake before hiking up the steep hill back to Loddiswell.

The home of Agatha Christie is beautiful and worth a visit. Our favourite way to visit is to drive to Dittisham and take a passenger ferry across to Greenway. However, you can also drive there.
