Cardiff is a fabulous city with so much to see and do-including the castle right in the centre which is well worth a visit, amazing shopping mainly pedestrianised, wonderful arcades with quirky shops too and lots of bars and restaurants. The waterfront now has the opera house with west end touring shows and plenty of good restaurants and bars plus boat trips too.

These are the most beautiful sanddunes which are huge and loads of fun for long walks or sledging down the sand banks. You can walk all the way to the stunning beach-approx 2km but the dunes are big so stick to main paths as it’s easy to get lost but well worth a visit
