Sightseeing

King Atrhur's legendary cliff-top castle at Tintagel with amazing views along the coast. Best to visit early or later in the day to avoid the crowds. The castle is a ruin and one of the best places to view it is from the cliffs to the north or south and it is not absolutely necessary to climb onto it to appreciate it. Many people miss Merlin's cave on the little beach below the castle which can be accessed without paying for entry to the castle.
