Dandridge is the second oldest town in Tennessee founded in 1783. Visit downtown and see the old Roper Mansion with all of its antiques. The downtown historic County Courthouse is also a popular attraction. It was built in 1845 and has a lot of historical items throughout the building.

Nice place to walk around and enjoy the scenery that Cherokee lake provides. There is also a boat launch if you want to venture out and do some fishing.

A little drive past Gatlinburg but it is worth it. Lots of breathtaking views of the Smokies and almost assuredly you will see the many wildlife it contains such as bears, elk, and deer. Not to mention the land. It’s beautiful!
