Cedar City is the closest city that will have just about everything you could want. You should pass through there if you are coming from southern Utah. We recommend you fill up with both gasoline and groceries here. For evening activities, this is where the world famous Shakespearean festival is located.

So many beautiful natural wonders from Angel's landing to weeping rock to the narrows. Check weather conditions before you go as some trails can become dangerous during the summer monsoons. I have wonderful memories of family picnics here from my childhood.
