Getting around
Driving on single track roads
It’s really important to know the rules of driving on single track roads to avoid any issues. Always stick to the left, so if a passing place is on the right never go into it as this could cause a head on collision, it is there for the car coming towards you! Allow cars behind you to pass to keep traffic flowing, the law says if you pass 3 passing places with a car behind you, you should pull into a passing place (on the left) and let it pass. Keeping cars behind you causes frustrations, puts extra pressure on you, and results in the road becoming congested with sometimes a queue of cars.
