City advice

Book before you go

Restaurants

Lots of restaurants get booked up quickly in Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Margate, especially in the summer months, so do book as far ahead as you can. If all else fails, you can't beat fish & chips on the beach.
Getting around

You can walk everywhere

In Broadstairs, there's no need to drive as everything is pretty nearby. Margate and Ramsgate are a five-ten minute drive from our house or you can jump on the Loop bus.
Customs and culture

Seagulls!

They are not very civilised and will swipe food from your hand on the beach if you're not careful.
